Same Query. Different AI. Completely Different Truth.
Today I ran an interesting experiment to test which AI platform gives the most accurate search-based results. I took the exact headline of a Search Engine Roundtable article: Google Search Quality Raters Guidelines Gains AI Overview & YMYL Definitions Then I searched the same headline on Google. Surprisingly, the original article ranked in 3rd position, while a different article from Search Engine Land ranked above it — even though its headline was not the same. Next, I tested multiple AI tools using the exact same headline: Gemini did not include the original Search Engine Roundtable article in its sources. Check Here: https://lnkd.in/dkQx54Xg Claude recommended the original article first, then listed another source. Check Here: https://lnkd.in/d_YHtjPv Perplexity also did not show the original source in its citations. Check Here: https://lnkd.in/dukiFiUM ChatGPT recommended the original Search Engine Roundtable page as its main source. Check Here: https://lnkd.in/duVQdR2B This raises a serious question: When users rely on AI for research, which platform is actually surfacing the most accurate and original source? Which platforms are prioritizing secondary summaries over the real source? And most importantly, which AI should users trust? AI search is powerful, but source accuracy matters more than ever. What has your experience been with AI research tools? Drop your thoughts on this LinkedIn post.

@Julian Goldie To be fair, if I had to name the number one tool, I would give that spot to Claude. And in second place, I would put ChatGPT.
HARO changed to CISION?
hello! I don't know if it's because of my location but I don't think that HARO is still active. I am being redirected to this site: https://www.cision.com/cisionone/ . Has anyone encountered the same? Thanks! I'm located in the Philippines.

WordPress Site
Hey guys, I have an online course and a really good product. Only problem is, I am not able to send my offer to the clients, because my website is not appearing in search results. Additionally, it has created random meta description and meta tags. Anyone knows and can help me out here with the seo?

@Sumedh Patil It sounds like a technical SEO issue. I recommend checking your website's settings in WordPress, especially the SEO plugin settings (like Yoast SEO or Rank Math). Make sure your meta descriptions and tags are manually set and aren't automatically generated. Also, check your site’s robots.txt file or WordPress settings to ensure it's not set to 'noindex.' You can also use Google Search Console to check for indexing issues and submit your sitemap. These steps should help improve your site's visibility in search results.
Link building inquiries
I'm brand new to SEO, and I'm doing it for my own website and one of my relatives websites, I've been outreaching to many websites asking for guest posts, and showing them a tool we built asking if they can link back to our tool. On average, what is the ratio or amount of site owners who will end up linking for every 100 cold emails I send asking for links? And please drop down any other tips that might help me with link building, this is my website and this is the tool I built for my relatives website

@Gustavo Cortes Your website niche is digital marketing, and this is a very competitive niche, and the website owner of this niche has a very low response rate. Mostly when we talk about 100 emails, then 10 email responses come back. So that's why keep follow up to increase your response rate and add value also.
Has anyone built a spider or a web scraper using any of the AI tools?
I was wondering If I could build a web scraper to collect contact details o the management team in an institution mentioned on the public websites? Can anyone help?

@Karan Kumar Yes, you can build a web scraper using Python (Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium) combined with AI tools like GPT for parsing and extracting management contact details. Ensure you handle dynamic content and validate extracted data using regex or AI models. Always follow ethical guidelines and respect robots.txt rules.

@Karan Kumar For a no-code option, try Octoparse or ParseHub—they're user-friendly and perfect for beginners. If you want AI-powered scraping, go for Diffbot.
