hello from zone 8a
Looking forward to helpful tips from those in Georgia. Living in basement apt, can only grow in containers/grow bags. Hoping and praying for success with tomatoes this year. Hoping to harvest my carrots and beets in a few weeks.

Everything is grown outside. W/2 cats it's impossible to grow inside.

Hello, Vivian here in Georgia, zone 8a. I grow in containers, tomatoes, peppers, greens, lots of herbs. My tomato growth has been unsuccessful; the first year deer came, after that those horrible worms in last 2 years, very frustrating. Looking forward to new planting this year. Lemon balm sprouting up in several places; good for tea (dried hibiscus, mint, and lemon balm and/or thai basil, delicious). I'm exited to be here.🥰
Sharing My Garden
I went to my primary garden this morning and decided to record it for you all. Nothing fancy just me walking through the garden. I hadn't been in it for a couple of days and found some surprises. Enjoy!

Hi there, love your garden. Watermelons, yum!! I have been trying to grow veggies for about 5 yrs and the deer keep wiping me out. So far this year, I've had no problems so I might be able to get some tomatoes and peppers. Have you tried making tea with the Thai basil; it's delicious. Just add some cuttings to your pitcher with hot water and let steep. I like it cold with fresh lime juice; hope you give it a try.😋
