Great to meet everyone in London yesterday
Thanks @Adrian Cormican for pulling it together, really good to put faces to names and hear how everyone's getting on. Adrian kept introducing me as "the AI guy" which I'll take. My background is actually in commercial property (13 years, Chartered Surveyor) but I've moved into building automation systems for businesses. So I sit somewhere between both worlds. One thing that came up in conversation yesterday was automating the post-sales-call workflow. Instead of spending hours writing up a proposal, I have an automated workflow that does it for you. I'm just finalising how to roll it out but I'll share it on here when it's ready. Adrian, you also mentioned you've got a couple of workflows you'd want me to look at. Send them through and I'll have a look. If anyone else in the group has a process that feels manual, repetitive, or just takes too long, drop me a message and I'll put together a quick demo showing how it could be automated. No charge, happy to add value to the group. Looking forward to the next one.

Thank you @Adrian Cormican for giving me the opportunity to meet you in person, I really appreciated it. It was a pleasure meeting everyone and I’m truly grateful for how welcoming you all were and for the time you took to speak with me. I hope we’ll have more opportunities to meet again soon.
Introduction
Hi everyone, My name is Vittoria and I’m currently an MSc Real Estate Finance student at Henley Business School. Adrian is my mentor and kindly gave me the opportunity to join this community. I’m currently starting to approach the job market and have recently had a few interviews for roles in Dubai. I would really appreciate any advice on interviews, especially for positions in real estate, brokerage, or investment. If anyone has tips, experiences, or insights to share, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance, and it’s a pleasure to be part of the community.

Hi @Charles Clarke, thank you, I really appreciate your perspective, it’s very insightful. As I don’t have formal work experience yet, I’ve mainly been focusing on communicating my mindset and personal background during interviews. A big part of this comes from my experience as a competitive swimmer for eight years, where I competed at both national and international level. That environment really shaped my discipline, resilience, and ability to perform under pressure. I also competed in national chess championships, which helped me develop a more strategic and analytical way of thinking, something I try to bring into how I approach both interviews and real estate. More broadly, I’d say I’m very driven by curiosity and personal growth, and I’m always looking to step outside my comfort zone and challenge myself. For my interviews in Dubai, I’ve also been taking the time to research the real estate market and better understand the industry dynamics. During the upcoming spring break, I’ll also be gaining practical experience at Fineco Bank in Italy (a leading European FinTech bank offering integrated banking, credit, and investment services), following the advice of my Careers Consultant. That said, I’d really like to become more intentional in how I position myself and communicate the value I can bring, so I’d be very interested to hear what has been working for you.

Hi @John Cormican, thank you, I really appreciate that. Dubai is a market I’m very interested in and currently exploring, so it would be great to exchange ideas and hear your perspective, especially given your experience working there.
Todays coffee call
Only 2 on todays call but that's ok we knocked it out of the park. @Vittoria Magnani joined the group recently. She is studying Real Estate at Reading university and we discussed her current projects, some marketing bits we are working on and interviewing in Dubai. It would seem for some who are young and adventurous that City still has an allure! Back to usual time (Weds at 2pm) next week.
