🎢 How is business in your local area?
I keep hearing that people have been dead, and that's not JUST in the dumpster industry. I've heard it from a very well established tile installer. I heard it from a buddy of mine who repairs sprinkler systems. I just read a post about issues with getting paid at another mans storage lot. How are things looking for you in your local market? Are you experiencing a slow down? Is it business as usual? Slammed as can be? If you're slow; what has been your primary focus for digging yourself out of the hole? If you're slammed; what has been the greatest driver of growth and success? Personally I'm in a weird spot. Year over year I'm crushing it, but if you look at 2025 as a whole, this has been my worst month BY FAR. So it's hard to say what's going on in the world based on my experience. Let's hear from you guys on what you're seeing!

Hey everyone, I work with Dumpster Runners around the world, especially in Brazil, the UK, and Australia. I’ve just joined the community because I’m now expanding into the United States, and I noticed something interesting — this same pattern happens everywhere. Across at least three continents, August is always a slower month, and the main reason is vacation season. Families spend more in July than usual, and while contracts with businesses continue to generate revenue, the real driver of profit for Dumpster Runners is the Residential Category. With my clients, I’ve always been able to turn these slow months into profitable ones — as long as you can anticipate these seasonal shifts. Here’s my recommendation: take your 2024 numbers (how many dumpsters you rented each month) and put them in a spreadsheet. You’ll see that the ups and downs follow a natural yearly trend. (Check the chart image from one of my clients comparing 2024 and 2025 for example). Knowing this, you can raise more capital during the high months by investing more, and when the slow months come, invest smartly in acquiring higher-value customers. A great way to do this is by targeting ads based on neighborhood and household income. There are so many ways to grow month after month and keep increasing revenue. If you’d like to chat and learn more about how I help Dumpster Runners all over the world rent more dumpsters, feel free to drop your questions below and I’ll be happy to answer.
