I made the mistake of trying out a 12 string at the store recently. Now I want to add one to my collection as the sound is so much more full than my current 6 string. Looking for recommendations of a budget friendly brand that will not break the bank for a living room musician.

Got to jam this past weekend which was excellent. We did mainly Savatage and Bruce Dickinson’s solo work covers, however, we did manage to jam on a Pantera song or two. 🤘. I should mention, I connect my headrush and GP-5 pedals to the amp and for range of tones.

Up for discussion. 1: Whats the hardest guitar technique you have learned? 2: Whats the technique you still can't quiet grasp? 3: Whats your favorite sounding guitar technique rigardless of the difficulty? For me: 1: Not sure what its called but its the double string chug/pull off tech that Adam Jones from Tool does. Specifically in the song Jambi but he does it in a few others as well. 2: Sweep picking is still something that doesn't come easy for me. 3: Tap/pinch harmonics are my favorite. Especially with low tunings/low chug notes behind them. The drastic pitch change back and forth is excellent. Example riff would be main riff from Stitch by Wage War🤘🏻
