I read an article the other day about something a European guy wrote that went viral and he was being praised until someone ran it through an app that checks whether something is AI or human written. The checker said it was 100% AI but he says he wrote it 100% himself. I guess it's created a big stink in Europe. So I thought I'd run some of my song lyrics through it to see how accurate it was. I was able to run nine songs through before I ran out of free credits. It identified seven as human written and two as AI written. I thought that was pretty good. So I went searching for another checker to pit them against each other. I found one that would only let you do one check, so I posted a song I wrote back in 1979 in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean before AI was even a thing. It said it was AI written. The other one correctly identified it as human. While searching for AI or human checkers, I found a lot of links to sites that make AI sound human. So, it uses AI to make AI not sound like AI! - lol - Just for fun I gave that a try with the same song from 1979. I'll paste my first verse, then the "humanized" version. I'd have to pay to see more than one verse, but that's all I needed to see how much it butchered my lyrics.
