Ice Breaker Saturday
What’s your favorite color? Next step…what real whole food do you like in that color and how do you prepare it for your family? My favorite color is orange and I can look at this in several ways for oranges how about a mild white fish baked with orange rings on tit or maybe it’s maple glazed carrots and my favorite pick an orange color cheese and put it on a hamburger!

I love this post so much and I think it would be great for my Lunar Wellness group because it gave a SUPER FUN perspective on nutrition and has these three elements: AUDIENCE - A post like this speaks to the audience of my skool group, an individual trying find ways to eat healthier (whether or not they have family/kids). INCLUSIVE DIET - A nudge towards whole foods is helpful for any diet (vegan, keto, whatever..) A CALL TO ACTION - A super fun perspective on food. What is your favorite color? What is a real whole food with that color? And SHARE a picture or gif in the comments.
Silly food names that worked
We’ve been calling broccoli “power trees” and sweet potato fry’s “pick up sticks” around here. What’s a silly food name you’ve used in your house? Share it below, I might steal it.😀

When my sister was a child she used to call pork and molasses beans that came in a can "chocoloate beans"😄

Party planning
Do you ever play parties just for the fun of it? I just thought about that because right now we’re in the middle of planning my granddaughter‘s birthday party and while I believe in healthy eating and real food, we are actually going to make ice cream cone cupcakes, and then turn them into sundaes instead of using icing. We’re gonna use ice cream and then give them sprinkles and chocolate sauce, and then a little real whipped cream and a cherry on top. What fun ideas have you had for parties?

For my niece's ninth birthday she requested a theme of nature and video games. My husband and I made a Mine Craft themed birthday cake complete with rice crispy square bricks for the structure, green icing for grass, kitkats for the furniture, blue jello for the pond (complete with candy fish!), etc. I was really fun to make and super well received!
