Spiritual Awakening & Deep Healing in Motherhood
Nobody talks about how motherhood can become one of the deepest healing journeys of your life. Especially when you're doing it without a village. When you're the one waking up at night. When you're the one handling the meltdowns. When you're the one carrying the mental load. When there's nobody to hand the kids to when you're overwhelmed...your children will find every wound you haven't healed, because they need something from you that you may never have received yourself... Those might be patience, safety, emotional regulation, unconditional love, healthy boundaries, and suddenly you're not only raising children but you're re-parenting yourself in the process too..And that's the hardest thing you will ever do... You are also grieving old versions of yourself. Breaking generational patterns. Learning to regulate your own nervous system so you can help regulate theirs. It's exhausting, messy, sacred and later on beautiful ❤️ And years later, you realize that while you were raising your children, they were helping raise you too and you see how far you all came ...They were some of your greatest teachers. That's the part of motherhood nobody prepared me for and that I am absolutely grateful for. I was the very first one in my family line to break those cycles and my kids will benefit so much from it and they will never know the things and trauma I've lived through because my parents didn't heal... I felt this so deeply 😭Even though i have a partner, im still the primary person who does all the mental load. Yes he does physical work but man is it ever exhausting loving so hard. Doing everything in your power to be the best present parent. To be their safe haven. To rub their tummies when it hurts. To not sleep wondering if they’re still breathing and if they’re sick, making sure they don’t choke on their 🤮. It’s overwhelming and most days exhausting but it’s so rewarding. They grow so fast. This too shall pass. Thank you for helping me. Xo

@Mafalda Oliveira thank you for your words. It takes a mama to understand a mama for sure. You are an inspiration. Keep doing what you’re doing cause you radiate! Xo
From Shelter to Stability course is Ready
It was a very emotional course to make , Please share it with your friends that are thinking about leaving, or left to a shelter in Ontario already.

I feel seen! thank you for this blog!
Welcome to Anami Roots Birth & Motherhood!
Hi mamas . I’m Mafalda , a solo ,homeschooling mom of two, birth doula, and the heart behind Anami Roots. This space is still under construction, so things might move slowly while I upload videos and classes (between mom life and homeschooling 😅). But we’re building this together , a warm, supportive community for pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the everyday magic (and chaos) of motherhood. I’m so grateful you’re here at the beginning of this journey with me . Please introduce yourself, so we can get to know each other and tell me what you are looking for in learning first. MAFALDA O.
