I use both interchangeably! Mostly work with a Yamaha QL5, but I’ve also worked with an x32, a Behringer Midas M32R, an Allen & Heath Qu-32 and 24, plus various smaller analog Yamaha boards. Both have their uses, but I personally prefer digital boards for big events like plays or musicals. I usually use the x32 for bands, but that’s more so for easy transport cause I don’t have a case for any of the analog boards. Currently trying to learn more about the Midas board because it’s going to be my main mixer for the next year.
