I’m in the same situation, and honestly, I’ve been stuck here for a long time. It’s frustrating not knowing what you really want, especially when everything around us seems to push us toward looking at what others are doing, such as Amazon FBA, starting a YouTube channel, or building some kind of online business. We get so caught up in these external ideas that we lose touch with what we genuinely care about. I’ve realized I have a lot of interests, but I’m not truly passionate about any of them. And that’s hard to accept because we’re always told, “You can do anything, but not everything.” Eventually, we have to make a choice. But how do you make that choice when nothing feels like it’s the one? For me, I’m an automotive technician instructor, and I know I want out of the college system. People keep telling me I should start a YouTube channel or create a community to teach online. I could do that, but the truth is, I’m burnt out from teaching. It doesn’t excite me anymore. At the same time, staying where I am feels even worse. I think the real challenge is finding something that genuinely excites you because, without that, it’s tough to stick with anything long-term. But how do you figure that out? Maybe it starts with shutting out all the noise from social media and focusing inward. Then, maybe the answer is to experiment. Try a few things and see what clicks. I don’t have all the answers, but I know I need to slow down and reconnect with what really matters to me.
