What’s your thoughts around failure?
Federer won nearly 80% of his matches, but only 54% of the points he played. Almost half the time, even at his peak, he was “failing.” Tiger Woods was ranked 175th in hitting the fairway, yet he was number one in recovering from the rough. Kobe Bryant missed more shots than anyone in NBA history. These stories remind us that failure is not a sign that something is wrong. It’s an ordinary part of competing at the highest level. What separates the greats is not that they avoid mistakes, but that they accept them, reset quickly, and fully commit to the next moment. The same applies whether you’re on a sports field or in business. You can prepare as well as possible, and still, setbacks will come. The invitation is to treat failure as part of the process—and to keep showing up with clarity for the next point, the next pitch, the next step. If you are not failing, you are not trying
Show me your swing
This is a safe space and for people who want constructive criticism. Post your swing here and we can discuss it 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

@Atomu Watanabe Definitely my follow through with the driver. Super choppy. I shortened up my backswing which greatly helped accuracy. Also not swinging as hard as I can. I have to trust my strength and leave the ego in the parking lot.

@Atomu Watanabe draw for sure. This was almost perfect for the hole shape. Just over did it a hair. As long as I don't swing for the fence my control is decent. But I know it can be so much better with more consistent club path
🎯 “It’s not the strongest… nor the most intelligent that survives
🎯 “It’s not the strongest… nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.” — Charles Darwin 🧠 Golf is not a game won by the most athletic. It’s not won by the most technical. It’s certainly not won by the ones who know the most. It’s won by the player who can adapt. ✅ Adapt to different course conditions. ✅ Adapt to pressure. ✅ Adapt to bad lies, wind, lost confidence, swing flaws — and still make the next best decision. The faster you can pivot, reset, and recalibrate, the more resilient your game becomes. 📌 That’s why at SCGC we train golfers to: - Let go of perfect swings and focus on real-time adjustments. - Build feedback loops using TrackMan and reflection tools. - Ask NEPQ-style questions like: “How did that shot affect your confidence? What did you learn from it?” Because the players who adapt quickest… evolve fastest. 🧭 Curious — when was the last time you adapted on the course rather than reacted? Drop your experience or lesson below 👇 Let’s grow this skill together.

I adapt every pre round range session. This has helped me TREMENDOUSLY. Instead of trying to fix something that short session, understand it is what I am working with that day.

Rory will finally do it... But I think Morikawa or Bryson have a great chance. BUTx2 we pull for Min Woo Lee
Seven reasons why Golf helps you grow
Feel free to use this thread to promote your own business. We are always trying to find ways on how we can connect Golf with the 7 areas of life *Work *Physical *Mental *Family *Social *Self Development *Financial I have been fortunate enough to link all seven areas with what I do and would love to see who else here has achieved this and how they did it. For myself I completed a little worksheet that allowed me to find out what my core values are. Which are *Family *Golf Eco System *Teaching Then realised that I don't actually value money a lot hence see it come and go very quickly. My bad :) And unfortunately hopes/dreams don't pay bills and allow me to grow. With this realisation and working with Jamie Milne I started connecting the mental wires to each of the seven areas of life by asking questions like. How does finance support, fulfil and enhance my FAMILY value? and asked this 100 times for each area of my life. The by product so far is the whole Watanabe Family is now playing golf as is a family activity. @Alicia Watanabe is now helping girls get into the game and actively showing them how much fun it can be. Now pushing for more kids to get into the game and also nurturing those kids who have found themselves in a tough environment. and to keep pushing towards their dreams. In fact one of them wants to represent Australia in Golf for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics! I got goosebumps when I heard this. Let's together keep showing people why this is the greatest game in the world.

Golf has been able to keep many aging friendships afloat in my life. We all, no matter where we are in life, share the love of golf. Getting out there with some of my clients and seeing the results (fitness for golf) paying off is an amazing feeling I plan to keep pursuing.
