We began with meditation, centered our hearts in prayer, captured what Holy Spirit was speaking through journaling, and then walked through the Prophetic Spectrum Assessment to help everyone identify where they are in their prophetic journey. From there, we opened up our introduction to the Prophetic Spectrum, laying a foundation that will shape everything we build over the next five weeks. One of my favorite moments was watching people realize that the prophetic isn't one-size-fits-all. Before I came back… God took me away. Thirty days. No pressure to produce. No pressure to perform. Just room to listen. If I had to summarize everything the Lord did in me during this sabbatical with one word, it would be this: Encounters. I’ve discovered that Christianity is not a routine to maintain... it is a relationship to pursue. And every meaningful season of transformation in Scripture began with an encounter. Moses encountered God at a burning bush. Isaiah encountered Him in the temple. Paul encountered Him on the Damascus road. Jacob encountered Him in the night. And when Jacob walked away from wrestling with God, he didn’t just leave with a blessing... he left with a limp. The touch of God changed the way he walked forever. That question has been haunting me: When was the last time you had an encounter with God that permanently changed the way you walk? Not a good church service. Not a sermon you enjoyed. Not a conference. An encounter. When was the last time God revealed something about Himself… about you… about His Church… about your assignment… that forever altered the trajectory of your life? That’s what this video is about. As I prepare to return from sabbatical, I wanted to share the one revelation that has revolutionized my life and completely reset my focus. I believe this message marks the beginning of a brand-new chapter... not just for me, but for our entire community. For the last six weeks, I had the privilege of leading an intensive with our pastors, elders, ministers, and members of our congregation. Something beautiful happened. People who had never preached before stepped up and preached. Seasoned ministers sharpened their delivery. Everyone grew. It reminded me of something… Preachers need community. Too many people are trying to develop their voice in isolation. They have a calling, but no coaching. They have passion, but no place to practice. They have something to say, but no one helping them sharpen how they say it. I want to change that. I don’t just want to create another preaching course. I want to build a preaching community. A safe place where preachers can grow, receive feedback, develop confidence, strengthen biblical communication, and become better stewards of the message God has entrusted to them. Today, we’re doing something uncomfortable. Raw. Honest. Necessary. Because self-deliverance does not begin with pretending. It begins with awareness. One of the most dangerous things a person can do is hide behind: - image, - performance, - spirituality, - gifting, - ministry, - intelligence, - humor, - success, - or busyness… …while silently drowning internally. So today, I’m challenging every person in this mentorship community to be REAL. No masks. No fake deep answers. No “I’m good.” No hiding. 👇🏽 In the comments, I want you to write ONE thing (or more) you are currently fighting, struggling with, battling, healing from, or trying to overcome. It could be: - fear, - shame, - lust, - pornography, - anger, - rage, - unforgiveness, - overeating, - gluttony, - overspending, - anxiety, - depression, - insecurity, - comparison, - people pleasing, - loneliness, - sexual sin, - addiction, - pride, - rebellion, - procrastination, - self-hatred, - suicidal thoughts, - emotional dependency, - secret sin, - hidden grief, - bitterness, - gossip, - compromise, - prayerlessness… Whatever it is. This is not about condemnation. This is about confrontation. Because what stays hidden stays empowered. And one of the enemy’s greatest strategies is isolation. He wants you to think: - “Nobody understands.” - “Nobody else struggles.” - “If they knew the real me, they would reject me.” But healing begins when truth enters the room. James 5:16 says: “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.” This community is not built for perfect people. It’s built for: - honest people, - hungry people, - growing people, - healing people, - transforming people. We are building a culture where people can be: RAW. REAL. TRANSPARENT. VULNERABLE. ACCOUNTABLE. SUPPORTED. PRAYED FOR. LOVED. CHALLENGED. AND FREE. So today, we expose the lie. We expose the struggle. We expose the cycle. We expose the agreement. Because freedom begins where honesty starts.
