DC TOUR STOP
Hey Speakers (Sidenote: Has Ashley given us a nick name yet?) I’m excited for the conference this weekend. What’s our dress code, are we business causal or business dressy?
DC TOUR STOP
šŸ‘‹Hi, I'm Rachel - Money & Mindset Expert | Speaker| Digital Marketing Strategist
Hey everyone, my name is Rachel Ligon and I help two powerful audiences create radical transformation: I train corporate teams and organizations using my G.O. L.I.V.E. Framework to boost performance, build resilient leadership, and help professionals thrive under pressure. And I empower aspiring entrepreneurs—especially faith-driven women—through my A.D.O.R.N. Method to launch profitable online businesses with clarity, confidence, and digital strategy. I’m currently based in Atlanta, GA, and my main business goal is to book high-paying speaking opportunities ($10K–$25K+) that allow me to scale to $500K+ this year through keynotes, corporate trainings, and licensing partnerships. I joined this community to collaborate with powerhouse leaders, connect with potential joint venture partners, and learn from those who are making waves through speaking. I’m excited to build aligned relationships and expand my impact. A fun fact about me is I used to be a live news producer for networks like NBC and ABC, and I also worked in production for major Hollywood studios like Disney, Amazon, and Tyler Perry Studios—now I help others take the spotlight in their own lives and businesses while living a freedom-based lifestyle.

Church, Rest spending time w/family and friends, absolutely no work
Y’all why you didn’t tell me how emotional graduations are - even for the baby’s?!
I remember when Christelle was born — 10 lbs, 8 oz and already full of fire. I delivered her as planned, and she came out talking! She was and is beautiful. I was so happy and calm during pregnancy. Chris said it scared him how chill I was, but I LOVED being pregnant. I felt peaceful, joyful, and so in sync with my purpose in that season. And today… we watched our baby girl graduate pre-K— surrounded by both of our parents. I’m so thankful to God that we have them here. That we could experience this moment with the people who raised us, now cheering on the girl we’re raising. This week we had the honor of hosting both Chris and I’s parents for Christelle’s graduation! We’ve watched movies, eaten great meals, and laughed until our cheeks hurt. We’ve sat around the table hearing stories about how our parents grew up — stories we’d never heard before. That kind of time is priceless. Christelle was OVERJOYED to have both of her grandparents in the house this week. She lit up every single day. She was wrapped in love from every direction, and it showed. Chris and I are both so big on family — and so is Christelle. I love that she’s surrounded by love on all sides. It’s something we pray for, work for, and fiercely protect. And to the entrepreneur moms reading this… It’s a lie that building a business means neglecting your kids. It’s a lie that you can’t be about family and also scale. If you’re holding back on chasing your dreams for your kids — let me tell you something: Let them see you do it. Let them see you try, build, believe, and win. It’ll build their confidence too. We take family trips. We have mommy-daughter days. We do family day almost every weekend. Chris and I are at almost every tennis lesson and swim lesson. And yes — we’re still building a business that impacts thousands. You can do this. You really can. And you can make your own rules.

Check your Notes
I’ve been producing a lot of content lately (well ā€œa lotā€ for me anyway lol) . I thought these were all new ideas. Well today I was going through my notes app and I I found multiple saved notes full of content ideas dating back to January 2024. Every one of my ā€œrecentā€ ideas was in those notes. every one!!! Which means these were not ā€œnewā€ ideas just ideas the Lord gave me over a year ago that I was not obedient to complete. And He graciously reminded me of. I really thought I was being swift to obey but I was actually operating in the MERCY of God that He allowed me to complete assignments that He told me to do last year. In my notes app I probably have enough content to last me until the fall 😳. Lessons…. 1. Obey God swiftly! 2. Ask God for mercy to remind you of the ideas you’ve forgotten about 3. Don’t let your notes app be an idea graveyard!!!!
