Ever been told you didn’t want something bad enough? Yeah, it happened to me...and it stung... I got rejected during an interview process in 2021 with one of the best companies in the online info space. The owner straight up said, "Sounds good, but we just don't think you want it bad enough good luck on your sales career" That moment lit a fire under my ass. I decided right then and there I was going to prove them wrong. Pissed off, persistent and ready to rock. I spent an entire day on a rooftop in downtown, recording 100 takes of a single intro video. Over and over. Until it was perfect. Then I sent it off. Guess what? I closed the deal. I got the job. Little did I know that moment would change the entire trajectory of my life.... On my first team video call, I see the guy who rejected me. He was in a pool in Costa Rica, shirtless on Zoom. I thought, "Holy fuck, that's my vision." Right there, I DM him in the private chat: "You're in Costa Rica right now?" "Yeah, dude, what's up?" he replies. I said, "I'm coming to Costa Rica, and you're paying for it." He was like, "What do you mean?" "How many deals do I need to close this month? You're covering it all." Next day, he texts me: "17." I closed 18. When you have a crystal-clear intention, sky-high emotions, and relentless action, you can make anything happen. Friendly reminder to never back down and watch what magic unfolds in your life
