Remote file access: Browse and edit folders exposed by connected A0 CLI and Launcher instances directly from the Web UI, with granular permission checks. Transfers are hardened with streaming, integrity checks, atomic writes, configurable limits, and safe archive handling. Beta, feedback wanted - A0 Tag: With an Agent Zero instance open in a Launcher tab, press Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Enter and ask A0 to do anything on your computer from the app you are in. It can also type text directly in place, currently in text editors, email clients, and custom fields. Credential fields are intentionally not supported for security reasons. This is the speed release, with some serious resilience work underneath. We halved the time between your prompt and the first token in Agent Zero. In the Launcher, startup time is also cut in half, and saving settings and Instance operations are about 30x faster. Context Doctor: A brilliant community contribution that brings a new recovery layer that repairs malformed tool-call JSON and recovers from empty, repeated, or misformatted model responses. If you run small local models or providers that occasionally misbehave, your runs stop derailing. Context-window indicator: You can now see live token usage, remaining context space, provider-reported costs, cache hits, and generation updates while the agent works. No more guessing what a run costs or when compaction will kick in. Vision sidecar: Another community contribution. Configure a separate vision model alongside your main model. Perfect when your favorite text model has no vision support, or when you want a cheaper model handling images. This release is about control and speed: a real stop button, a faster Web UI, and a round of quality-of-life features you'll feel every day. The stop button: Active runs can now be cancelled end to end. There's a stop button in the Web UI, a new /stop API, and a /stop command in the CLI connector. When you say stop, the whole run stops, including everything happening behind the scenes. Speed: The Web UI starts noticeably faster thanks to asset bundling, service-worker caching, extension manifests, compression, and version-aware cache handling. Long chats stay smooth too: messages render lazily with pagination, and message collapsing plus replayed warning grouping were fixed. Quality of life: Chat renaming is now a builtin feature, you can rename them via the chat list, with /rename, and sidebar pinning is also built in. The Files browser supports drag-and-drop moving for files and folders, including guarded multi-item moves with clear drop feedback. Slash commands are discoverable through skills, and the command picker no longer pops up when you type a trailing slash in a path. Launcher update: You can now drag instance tabs to reorganize them or detach them into separate windows.
