Christmas came and went so fast this year. I made mince meat from my recipe book, it was a success with Jimmy! There are so many of them but the one I am working on today is getting the ingredients for mince meat. I have not been able to find the commercially made mince meat the past two years and my husband loves mince meat pie. So I have been making my own and it's been working. Merry Christmas all. Every Christmas I have been buying Mince Meat to make my husbands favorite mincemeat pie. The past two years it has been impossible to find in the store so I am making my own. Last year was the first year I did that and it was amazing. This year my sister sent me an old recipe book our mom had created. And guess what was in it? A recipe for Mince Meat. So here it is:
