The past couple of years ive been building a healing centre at the moment im building my first cob ceremony space from pallets. Im going to put a cob floor in also. Im just checking out soil at momenthoping its the correct clay.I've built a small swimming pool with sauna also. I plan to build 2 maybe 3 small hobit houses from cob next

Hi. I've just sold my house and fled suburbia and am a little overwhelmed. I am determined to use my little nest egg to buy some property and build a small house. I have never even nailed two boards together, but am determined to avoid a mortgage. I can use all the help I can get.

Hi everybody, Here’s an update with my cobbin, almost complete with the first cob layer. I got a bunch of cheap windows on Facebook marketplace, one of them is a window from a school bus, for the driver, which slides open. It’s very hard to find smaller windows that slide open, so check school buses as well if you’re sourcing windows. The outside is almost complete with the cob plaster, just a couple of window holes that I’ll probably fill in with some glass bottles. Soon I’ll be on to the lime plaster.
