Another teaser... AI Intelligence Is Coming to Next Gen
Didn't think we'd fit this in before roll out but here it is The back story: I bought a Whoop back in December to start taking my sleep more seriously. (Unfortunately… my recovery score is currently at an all-time low 😅) But there was an unexpected upside. Whoop has this feature that combs through all your data and gives you instant insights. Ask how your sleep has trended over the past few weeks or what’s happening with your HRV… and it just tells you. No dashboards. No digging. No interpretation needed. I found myself thinking: What if lead gen platforms worked like this? What if instead of pulling reports and guessing… you could just ask: Which funnels are actually driving my best leads? Where are prospects dropping off? What should I optimize next? That question is what ultimately inspired me to build LeadCapture Next Gen. Inside Next Gen’s Copilot, we created a new capability called Intelligence. It proactively scans an account, surfaces performance insights daily or weekly, and lets you ask simple questions to instantly understand what’s working// and what isn’t. From top-performing funnels… to lead quality trends… to conversion drop-offs… And then will connect those insights directly into an optimization plan. Thinking long term this is where it gets really interesting... Agents that don’t just analyze performance, but actually build, test, and optimize funnels automatically. That’s the future I’m building toward. And honestly, it all started with a Whoop telling me I needed more sleep 😅 ironically, i lost a lot of sleep thinking about this one.

This is going to be great when it get released. Tell me, I got the Appsumo deal years back, will I get the same level access? Feel free to DM me.

Piggy backing of my last post about NextGen and what's coming next: https://www.skool.com/leadcapture/quick-roadmap-update-whats-coming-next This feature address one of our most common pieces of feedback. "I just want to recorder the flow by dragging steps" So now, simply move a step and the flow automatically adjusts. For more complex logic you can override it with a new conditional logic system. This is still in Alpha so we're smoothing out some UX/UI issues but it's getting there

Looking good!
Tactic That's Working > UGC Video Ad on Landing Page before quiz/form
I just got off a call that reminded me of a tactic I’ve seen work really well and I’ve been experimenting with it myself with success. Most people think of UGC videos as ad-only assets. . But there’s another way to use them that’s quietly working extremely well: Put the same UGC video directly on the landing page. Here’s how the flow looks: Simple version 1. UGC video as the ad or social post 2. That same UGC video placed above or beside the form on the landing page (desktop) 3. You’re not asking the visitor to re-context-switch. They see the same message, same face, same framing, just continued. More advanced version 1. Remix the UGC video for the ad and update the ending to say: “Take the quiz below to {insert outcome}” 2. Drop that exact version on the landing page I have a page using this approach that’s converting at 30%+, which is why I’m leaning into it harder. I included an example I just created so you can see how the “take the quiz below” language looks in practice. This is also why I’m genuinely excited about what we’re building with AI UGC videos + the landing page tool. Once the page builder rolls out, my plan is simple: - Headline - UGC video that says “take the quiz to find out” - Quiz - Social proof

Was this video create by AI? If so, she doesn't look like it.
UGC style videos using Sora 2 for meta ads
While building the lead gen brand that I've been documenting, I went deep down the AI video rabbit hole. Main reason: that’s where I’m seeing the best engagement and I don’t have the time (or desire) to be on camera shooting videos myself. I was honestly skeptical of AI video at first .But after playing with Sora 2, my mind is kind of blown, especially for UGC-style ads. As a quick test, I spun up a video in minutes. It’s not perfect (I didn’t overthink it), but the quality is already good enough to test ads with. I’ve tried a lot of AI video tools, and so far Sora 2 is in a different league from what I can tell. That said, there are two real downsides: 1. You’re capped at 12 seconds (I’d be shocked if this doesn’t increase over time) 2. Every video has a moving watermark you can’t edit out cleanly (if using Sora directly) You can use watermark-removal tools, but they come with tradeoffs. The only other tool I’ve found that gets close to this quality is Arcads, but it’s roughly $10 per 12-second video, which adds up fast. So I took a different route. I’m bypassing Arcads and using the Sora 2 API directly, which lets me generate similar videos for about $1–$2 per video. Huge difference. If there’s interest, I’m happy to spin this into a public-facing app that makes this accessible without needing to mess with the API yourself.

That would be great!
Turning compliance from a headache into a competitive edge
It’s crazy to think back to when compliance was an afterthought for me. GDPR? My eyes glazed over. TCPA? Not even on my radar. But once I got deep into lead gen, it hit me: you can’t scale without compliance. So I stopped treating it like a burden and started treating it like a competitive advantage. I even built LeadCapture in a way to make compliance almost push-button easy, because I never wanted to overthink this stuff again and I believe it's my duty to make this stuff easy for our customers. Here are some things to highlight (most people don't realize that LeadCapture can do all of this) - Every lead is time-stamped, IP captured, consent language locked down, and stored for 5 years. Not just in our system, but in ActiveProspect too (if using TrustedForm). Redundancy on redundancy. - An entire consent section is baked into every step submit, with pre-built templates for TCPA, CCPA, GDPR, you name it. - TrustedForm isn’t gated behind some “enterprise” plan. It’s just included, because compliance should never be optional. And it's just a flip of a switch. - Every lead is natively tagged with consent and passed all the way back to buyers and clients. Even the disclaimer text is automatically saved. Most people forget that part! And we’re not stopping here. Long term, I've got this idea for putting leads on blockchain and using zero-proof id tech to completely change how consent is captured and stored. I think this will be some disruptive stuff. But it's something we'll circle back to later in our roadmap. One last thought: these features weren’t built in a vacuum. They came straight from conversations with others. During these convos, it became clear to me that those who are winning don't view compliance as a burden, they view it as a competitive edge, because it's the thing that many people still ignore

This is spot on - compliance really is everything. GDPR fines are brutal: up to €20 million or 4% of global revenue. British Airways paid £20 million, Marriott £18.4 million. But the fines aren't even the worst part. Individual claims can be £500-£5,000 each, plus legal costs and reputation damage. One bad campaign with 10,000 leads could mean £10 million in compensation claims alone. The math is terrifying when you think about it. What you've built with LeadCapture makes complete sense. Companies treating compliance as a competitive advantage are positioning themselves to win. Everyone else is gambling with their business. That blockchain concept sounds really interesting too - would love to hear more when you're ready.

@John Porini That TCPA lawsuit farming is terrifying - I had no idea people actively hunt for non-compliant forms just to sue later. Your blockchain vision sounds incredible. Letting prospects see and control who accesses their data could completely change trust in lead gen. Would solve the "my details got sold everywhere" problem that makes people hate filling out forms. Really smart approach.
