Barking Orders by Roxy the Cattle Dog. Written from a dogs point of view. I havent owned a dog for many years and wanted my kids to have a dog. It was time to stop going to the dog park without a dog to pat the other dogs. Never had a cattle dog before and an amazing and interesting breed. When I was walking her I often wandered what she was thinking so made up stories in my head. All of the incidents in the "diary" are true with lets just say writers license. Had so much fun writing it and busy working on book 3. Appreciate thoughts on the cover as I recently changed it. Currently available on Amazon and will go wide when my Canadian isbn numbers are issued.

@Gigi Kingston thank you. If ever the shelter is fundraising I would be happy to donate a few books for a raffle or anything appropriate to help. Keep up the wonderful work.

@Gigi Kingston I am not interested in the donation as based in Canada and can’t claim the receipt. Just looking to do a small bit to help( if it does help ) I have offered to the rescue that we got Roxy from and they will do when they do the next raffle.
Amazon Ads Reporting Lag As Anyone Else Experienced This?
Had a small issue with Amazon Ads reporting last week. My campaign data seemed to be lagging, and for a little while the numbers weren’t updating as I expected. I ended up checking everything twice because I wasn’t sure whether it was a reporting delay or something on my end. Thankfully, it eventually caught up and everything is showing correctly now. Has anyone else experienced a lag like this with Amazon Ads reporting? It seems like a small thing, but when you’re keeping an eye on ad performance, it can definitely make you wonder what’s going on.

I only look at Amazon ads 2 days prior due to the lag. Sundays and public holidays seems longer.

@Roger Heyden i only negative target every few days. I find touching my ads daily slows it down. The algorithm is like a giant machine that when you change needs time to recalibrate. Once I have a campaign that’s working I try not to touch it.
new author here, and i need help.
hello everyone, how are you? hope you guys are doing great. i am a new author, trying to write ;) so won't bit around the bushes, straight to the point. English is not my first language, that might sound scary, but it is not that bad, and it is not an excuse to write a poorly written book, i want to get stronger, and put words on the paper which would make me proud not ashamed, but there is always this fear in the back of my mind, asking "what if there is something within your writing, described the best you could, but still not how you wanted it to be? or what if the reader cannot actually communicate properly as you have planned with what you wanted to deliver?" that stress is neither good, nor healthy, i am very well aware of that, but i need guidance, is there any specific questions that i must ask myself during edit session, to make sure the text is exactly as what i wanted it to be, not combined with the images and the plot in my head, which creates the understanding; for readers who have just picked up my book, giving it a try, they wont have the images and the scenes unless the book is read, which means if i have failed to write it right :) they wont see what i see, they wont feel what i feel. sorry got a bit too long, hope it didn't bore you guys out. looking forward to receive guidance from my senior writers and this junior writer thanks you by tons already. take care.

Is there a reason you not considering writing in your first language. Without knowing the details may be easier and less crowded.

@Rose Rogers best of luck
Barnes & Noble?
Has anyone self-published with Barnes and Noble Press? If so , I'd like to hear about your experience. Obrigada!

I publish some of my books on draft to digital. That way I go wide. My better books I go to kobo direct as gives me direct marketing tools. I think Amazon does that too but if I did everything perfect I wouldn’t be able to keep up. Had a few sales on Barnes on noble.
