What is the biggest thing between you and your goal?
Hey friends — When I started One Grand Film, it wasn’t just to make another film course. I built it because I wasted way too many years spinning my wheels — and I don’t want that for you. This marks 20 years in the game for me. And while I’ve had some incredible wins, if I’m being honest? It took me about 15 of those years to actually gain traction. If I had known then what I know now… I could’ve packed 20 years of progress into five. No question. So that’s the mission now: shorten the runway for other filmmakers. Help you skip the pointless delays, the gatekeeping, and the “figuring it out alone” phase. But to do that right — I need to hear from you. What’s the #1 thing standing between where you are right now… and where you want to be? Be as specific and detailed as you can. I’m going to build new courses, trainings, and live sessions around the biggest pain points I see coming up. And if someone else already posted something that hits home — just hit LIKE and comment “THIS” underneath. Let’s start a conversation that’s actually useful. No fluff. No BS. Just help where it’s needed. Talk soon, AJ

For a long time, it was fear—fear of not having the right gear, not having a crew, not believing the story was strong enough, and not finishing projects because of factors beyond my control. I faced setbacks that taught me how fragile momentum can be when not everyone shares the same vision. Now, that chapter is closed. I’ve made something that speaks for itself, and I’m putting the final touches on it. The path is clear, and the best is yet to come.

Congratulations, @Aj Rome I can't wait to see your films.
Winston Salem North Carolina
I'm Jason, I live in Winston Salem. Primarily a screenwriter. Started out as an actor and found myself joke-pitching and trying to punch up Rodgers and Hammerstein scripts ;-) I'm coproducing a comedic horror/vampire movie right now written by a friend. I'm here because I want to get a feature under my belt and this seems like the best way to do it!

Congratulations @Israel A. Abimael I read the synopsis for your book, and it’s truly powerful. Instead of just posting a link to your book on Amazon, consider adding a brief, compelling statement to draw readers in—not just to read it, but to follow your work as well. A strong hook can make all the difference in capturing interest!
Producer, Writer/Director from Central Florida
Hello fellow filmmakers. I'm a Producer, Writer/Director in Central Florida. Currently in pre-production for my faith-based short drama film. TITLE: Steven On My Mind LOGLINE: A family man struggles to help his troubled brother while avoiding his overbearing, religious mother. When he reaches a breaking point, he turns to God for help and gets his prayers answered in unexpected ways. I'm putting together the top of the line production team and may already have the DP, an AD and script consultant. I'm currently putting together a campaign to raise funds. Ideally, not more than $10k. Currently using this concept cover for my pitch deck but will be making an original.

@Ricardo Miranda Have you spoken to @Aj Rome yet? I like the direction you're taking with your film, but have you considered making it a feature instead of a short? Investing $10K into a short film without a clear path to monetization might not be the best move. A feature could give you more opportunities to sell and distribute your work.
