Hello!
i’ve yet to really engage too much with the community as i’ve been really busy with school, but i made a 2min video that i’m really proud of, and wanted to share it with everyone. would love to hear some feedback https://youtu.be/4-nqTauDP6Q

@Jordan Watkins for context, this was my midterm project for my filmmaking 1 class. didn’t necessarily make it to share but shared it kind of as a bonus. i’ve been putting my college projects up just so i can pull together a portfolio in the future

@Jordan Watkins also you’re right the first intro isn’t super strong from a content perspective’s. i did color grade it a bit but admittedly i was a bit conservative. i think i’m confused at your feedback on the last bit? “how to keep your head above water” was a statement, not a question. i meant it as a bookend of the “how to make wheatpaste,” did that choice not translate? what would have made that choice stronger?
im a bit conflicted...
hi to the new creatives here and the ones i know but haven’t met yet, i’ve been taking a bit of a back seat with consistency lately not because i’ve stopped caring but because i started feeling like a fraud posting content i don’t fully embody especially with my series i’ve been deep in the craft refining storytelling pacing camera work sound (mind u 3 months ago I didn't even know what these words meant😀) so it lands but the more i focus on making it good the more i lose consistency because i don’t want to rush it I am aware consistency has guaranteed results, but for me I have noticed my quality attracted loyal conversions that helped me hit 6k followers + and the new core audience out of it engage very well (stories, dms, feedpost, reels everything), through just a few pieces of content. curious to hear your thoughts how do you balance consistency with creative integrity + learning?

new here ! cool to see other people seeing growth and wanting to stay authentic as they do it. i don’t really have more to add to what others have already said, but i think in a similar vein if i’m struggling to post anything in general i aim for a shitpost. sometimes the anxiety can really get to me so just something to release some of that pressure. it sounds like you have some good momentum! i wish you the best as you push on :)
