Looking for case studies
Hi, I’m Catherine Thairu — AI Agent & Automation Expert I’m currently building my professional portfolio and looking to create 5 in-depth case studies that showcase how AI agents can transform businesses. I specialize in marketing automation and AI agent systems, combining marketing strategy with advanced automation to help brands increase leads, streamline customer engagement, and scale effortlessly. If you’d like me to build custom AI agents for your business (lead generation, customer support, or marketing workflows) in exchange for a detailed case study, I’d love to collaborate with you. Let’s create something powerful together — you get the automation, and I get the results documented as a portfolio case study.

@Catherine Thairu I’m very interested
A quiet shift I’m seeing across AI agencies right now
There’s a subtle change happening in how the best AI agencies operate. They’re spending less time building automations and more time designing decision systems. Instead of: • “What can we automate next? ”They’re asking: • “What decisions should never be manual again?” That shift changes everything. When AI handles decisions like: – lead qualification – pricing recommendations – prioritization of work – risk detection Your agency stops scaling on effort and starts scaling on judgment. This is where AI actually becomes leverage —not as a tool layer, but as a thinking layer. Worth paying attention to this transition.

Fascinating insight. Thank you for sharing.
It Works!!
Oh man, I needed this win. 😅 WIN: After-hours AI routing system finally LIVE for a real restoration company 🎉 I’ve been in the trenches for MONTHS trying to get a real production call-routing system working for a national restoration company … and tonight it finally passed a full live test end-to-end. 🙌 What I just shipped: An after-hours emergency routing system where: - A Retell AI agent answers the emergency line - Collects caller info + ZIP code - Calls a custom tool that hits a Relay.app webhook - Relay talks to multiple Google Sheets to figure out: Is this weeknight vs weekend? Who’s on call (PC vs PM)? Which region (East vs West)? - - Relay sends back the exact human + phone number - Retell does a warm transfer straight to the on-call person I tested it live and the call actually rang the correct on-call contact. No manual fix, no “almost there”. It worked. 😭🔥 Why this feels huge: - I almost abandoned this because I hit so many walls. - Claude’s rate limits + weird errors slowed me down hard. I ended up abounding Claude and using Chat GPT and it did fantastic. AND NO STUPID RATE LiMITS! - I kept breaking little pieces in Relay — path logic, JS step outputs, missing fields, you name it. - There were plenty of “I’m going to shut this all down” moments. But I stuck with it, untangled the logic one step at a time, and now: - Retell + Relay + Google Sheets are working as a real, revenue-generating system - The business now has a 24/7 emergency line that routes intelligently instead of burning out staff - I have a repeatable pattern I can clone for other service businesses (restoration, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) I just wanted to share this because it’s one of those “this is actually running in the real world now” milestones that’s easy to skip past and move on from. If you’re stuck in the middle of a gnarly build: keep going. Your future “live test passed” moment is ridiculously satisfying. 💪 What’s a recent win you’ve had, even if it felt small at the time?

Congratulations!
Types of businesses for voice agents
What are the best types of businesses to offer voice agents? I'm currently thinking about offering my service to travel agencies and dental clinics, but I would like some suggestions if you have some.

I would say anything that customers view as an emergency: dental, veterinarian, locksmith, plumber, chiropractor, HVAC, florist, cell phone repair. If customers need their service NOW, they’re a perfect candidate.
Hey All!
Hey I’m Travis. Been in sales and marketing for almost 10 years for some big home service companies. I’m wanting to get away from big businesses and figured this would be a great way to earn a living helping small businesses compete. Looking forward to learning from you all. Cheers!

Thanks @Melody Villa! I’m thinking a marketing bundle for local contractors: it would include 5 microsites, an ai receptionist, a 10,000 piece direct mail campaign, and a door to door lead generation team. I would guarantee enough leads to justify the upfront cost and charge per lead over and above that. It would be a lot of moving parts, but I’m a dreamer 🤣
