Des and I have been talking about something we’re both actually rather good at, connecting people.And that has come about due to knowing A LOT of people here on skool and being well connected ourselves. We often spot opportunities between people and think, “You two really need to talk!” 😂 So we’re wondering whether we could turn this into a service within Collaboration Station. The idea would be that we get to know what you’re looking for and what you can offer, then help match you with people who could be a genuinely good fit. That could be someone to: ✨ Run an event with ✨ Join you on a panel or discussion ✨ Speak or guest in your community ✨ Cross-promote with ✨ Help you reach new audiences, members or potential clients ✨ Or simply create a collaboration neither of you had thought of yet Rather than Des and I disappearing off and creating something because we think it’s a brilliant idea 😂, we want to know whether you would actually find it useful. And when I say expert… I mean you’ve been around the event block a few times! 😂 We’re looking for people who are well seasoned in the event arena and really know their stuff. Maybe you’ve spent years organising live events. Maybe workshops, conferences, retreats, networking events or exhibitions are your thing. Perhaps you know the technical side inside out. Or maybe your expertise is getting bums on seats, keeping an audience engaged, finding speakers, securing sponsors, promoting events, following up afterwards… or one of the MANY moving parts that go into creating a really good event. Basically, if events are your world, I want to know about you. We’re building out more of our Experts Corner here at Skool Events Daily, and I want to bring in people who have proper experience and something genuinely useful to share with our members. Not theory not something you watched on YouTube last Tuesday. 😂 I’m talking about the things you’ve learnt from actually DOING it, including the things that went brilliantly, the things that went horribly wrong and the lessons you only learn when you’ve been in the trenches yourself. Because there are a lot of people on Skool running events who would LOVE to learn from people who have already been there and done it. So… Are YOU an event expert?
