Intentional Doing vs. Doing to Prove or Fill Time
I’ve noticed a theme coming up this week: we can easily get consumed with doing. Tasks, helping others, worrying, ticking off the to-do list, or even trying to squeeze in all the “good things” we’re told are healthy—our days can get filled with activity. For some, this comes from the pleasure of being productive. For others, it’s the fear that unless they do as much as possible each day, they’re falling short. Either way, when “doing” runs the show, the long-term result is often burnout. Burnout isn’t the same as being tired. It's when momentum is gone, like your legs are cut out from under you. It can look like major fatigue, depression, or a deep sense of malaise. Think of burnout like your phone battery. At 20%, the phone starts conserving energy—non-essential systems get dialed back. Your body does the same: immune function, digestion, and higher thinking all get downgraded so you can just keep running. - If you recharge, things come back online quickly. - If you ignore the signals and push through, your body dips into the “red zone”—headaches, colds, reflux, constipation, pain. - Keep ignoring? One day the system just shuts down, like your phone suddenly going dark. - And just like a phone battery that’s run down too many times, your body won’t bounce back as easily. It takes longer to recharge and never quite holds energy the way it used to. So here’s the invitation: Do you know your signals? Do you listen or ignore them? How do you recharge? 👉 Drop your reflections on these three awareness questions in the comments.

Are You Using Technology Like a Washing Machine — or a Distraction?
I was thinking about how much I love my washing machine.I toss in the clothes, hit start, walk away, and come back later with a chore done and more time in my day. What I don’t do is stand in front of it for an hour and watch the clothes spin — that would be a waste of the whole point! And yet… isn’t that how most people treat their phones? We have amazing tools that could save us time, help us grow, and improve our lives — but we often end up stuck staring at screens, consuming content that triggers stress, drains focus, or makes us feel like we're always behind. Technology is neutral. How we use it determines whether it gives us life… or takes it. Let’s be intentional.Let’s use tools like tools.Let’s walk away once we press start — and come back more whole. 👉 Curious — what’s one habit you’ve changed recently to use tech more intentionally?

@Sharon Witt I think this is one of those areas where you can use your phone as a tool to stay connected, yet being discerning to what you are watching or doing and that it is enriching you instead of possibly draining you.
Surrender
Surrender is the pause or space of the unknown. It is the gap between that which we are living and that which we have dreamed or desired. It is the pause that allows synchronicity of the universe to bring to us that which we desire to experience into our awareness. It is void of expectation of how it must show up. Meaning if you are looking for a focused expectation you are limiting the magic of the universe to bring you something in your highest and best good. You are going to miss the magic that could appear and attuning only to what you expect to show up and thus are disappointed if it shows up differently. Surrender allows magic to show up from the frequency of your heart, instead of from the frequency of your mind needing everything to be in a perfect checklist or plan. Surrender is the trust in yourself and the trust in source to provide what you have asked for in the right time. Surrender is the silence and space where you have set your heart, emotion and mind to be aligned to the frequency of your desire and have experienced it in your heart as already yours. You have lived it. Then abracadabra you say yes that one is mine. Once the spell is cast all there is left to do is engage with the present moment of your life and enjoy each one. Not looking for the dream to appear, but just being present so as it starts to appear before you as opportunities you are aware enough to see them. How well do you allow surrender in your life? Have you ever experienced disappointment when things show up differently than your expected plan? Have you been able to surrender and seen the magic appear before you? Comment and share in the discussion below.

Surrender takes time to practice and deep trust in something bigger than ourselves that has our highest and best good always in mind. It is something I love to teach and can speak more into on a Tuesday night call.

@Sharon Witt the more you keep connecting with your inner guidance system the easier it is to surrender.
Can we Run, Hide or Fight our emotions?
It is becoming more and more clear to me that we humans are on the cusp of having to learn how to experience our emotions. We are being pushed to finally deal with a lifetime of emotions we have either run from, hide from, or fought to keep tightly bound deep inside. The world is increasingly giving us experiences where we are being pressured to finally let them out. Except many people have no idea how to do the opposite of what they have spent a lifetime trying to control. Emotions are E=energy in motion. They have highs and they have lows. Our society seems to be comfortable in the highs but tries anything it can to avoid the lows. What if all we need to do is allow the E=energy to actually move no matter if it is a high or if it is a low? I would love to have a discussion on this topic and get your experience with your relationship to emotion it's highs and its lows. What do you tend to do when you feel a low? What do you do to avoid it or stop it? Do you see a purpose in the low? I hope I hear from you all.

@Sharon Witt yes this is coming form DRD2 gene GG your dopamine receptors are dense and imaging the outcome is very pleasurable for you, but when it comes to living the images they can sometimes not live up to what was in your head. Letting go of the expectation allows magic to show up and surprise you. It is a leap of faith not knowing the how, they when or the who.
Your body has a language
Your body has a unique language of how it speaks to you. It is a language of health or unhealth. It does not mean your body is meant to be unhealthy. If fact it is designed to heal automatically in every moment. What gets in the way? Us. We get in the way when we think we are our body. We are consciousness, energy, experiencing ourselves through the sensations of the body. It is up to us to see our body as a beautiful device that plugs into us. It loves us so much it does not judge our thoughts, our emotions, our relationships, our outer environment or our choices. It keeps going trying its hardest to show us through our senses what we are experiencing. It is reflective of us and how we see ourselves and how we interact with our world. Don't blame your body for letting you down. It has never once let you down. Start to develop a relationship to it's language, sensations, pain, disease, it literally will show you everything you need to see or know. Example I have had issues with my left ear my whole life it will clog up and feel a pressure. It comes and it goes. When it comes it can be painful, it can feel like I just want it to open and if I tug on it enough something should happen. My epiphany, I know everything in the body reciprocates. Meaning if my left ear hurts I should look to the meaning on the right. So I lean in and the right ear represents not wanting to hear other people. Aha my ear on the left clogs up when I am being resistant to listening to other people tell me something I don't want to hear and I retreat into myself only wanting to hear my own truth. Problem, those other people are here to serve me in my expansion. If I don't start to listen from a new perspective I have no new information. No new information means no new understanding. My affirmation is "I listen to others with my whole heart. In their words I hear myself telling me what is for my benefit to hear. I find the lesson and embrace it."

@Sharon Witt I look at it two fold one is we are built for a time when our bodies main job was to help us heal from acute traumas. Acute is something that happens and I’d dealt with quickly and then the we move on. But today we get more toxic exposure in one day than our grandparents did in their whole lifetime. Instead of being able to keep up our bodies are dealing with chronic bombardment of inflammation and stress. I see this as a focus we get to learn from your dna test, which helps us understand where you take in toxins and where your body creates bottlenecks from all the bombardment, while we work to remove as many toxin exposures as possible and supporting he body clearing these toxins safely. 2nd to your question of spiritually what is this situation showing me as a possible learning experience and growth? I look to what am I learning, for you we discovered a huge part of your Human Design chart is transformation. When this is present it can show up in big ways, big transformations. I see transformation as a new story and belief system that evolves throughout our life. So I would say look to your story, what is in alignment with living a story of healing and what contradicts that story and keeps you in the story of sick, disabled or the fear it won’t change. Your natural state of being is satisfaction and I would use frustration as a guide to inform me of when I need to check back in with my body and make sure I am placing my focus and energy on the right things in the moment. If you get your no, ask more questions to see where or what you should be doing or focusing on instead.
