🚨 Claude Now Watermarks Everything It Writes. Here's What It Means for Your Client Work.
Anthropic announced Tuesday that Claude embeds an invisible watermark in the text it generates. Any model released after August 2 does this automatically. Older models get it later. You can't turn it off. Here's how it actually works. The mark is invisible when you read it. It survives copy and paste. Anthropic says some of it survives editing. Files like images carry signed metadata showing Claude made them and whether they've been altered since. And it's applied at the model level, so it doesn't matter which door you came through. Claude, the API, Claude Code, Cowork, or Claude through AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft. Same mark. Worldwide, not just the EU. Anthropic is also building detection tooling and says it will publish how to check for it. Most of the internet spent this week being angry about it. That's the wrong reaction. Here's what to actually do. 1. Check what your contracts promise. If you have client agreements that say "original human written content," that language is now a real liability. Fix it before someone runs a detector, not after. 2. Disclose and move on. Say you use AI, say how, and say what you do on top of it. The operators who say it out loud are about to look a lot better than the ones who get found out. 3. Stop selling the writing. Sell the judgment. Nobody's paying you because you can type. They're paying for strategy, taste, and the fact that it works. None of that gets watermarked. 4. Learn to explain what detection actually proves. It's statistical, not a fingerprint. Anthropic says short or heavily edited text may not detect at all, and that no mark found does not mean it wasn't AI. You're going to need that sentence when a client waves a detector at you. 5. Assume this becomes standard. OpenAI signed the same EU code. Google is already on it. Building a workflow around dodging detection means rebuilding it every quarter forever. Two honest notes. Paraphrasing and heavy editing does dilute the mark, but treating that as your business model is a treadmill you don't get off. And Anthropic hasn't spelled out how any of this behaves on code specifically, so if that matters to what you deliver, wait for the technical details instead of guessing.

I so appreciate that we can receive information like this. The reality is that many of us would've learned about this way down the line! Thanks much!
🚨 Google Just Cut Agent Costs in Half. There's a Deadline On It.
Gemini 3.7 Flash shipped Thursday. Three weeks after 3.6 Flash. Google is iterating faster than most people can test. The headline is price. 75 cents per million input tokens, $3.75 output. That's half what 3.6 cost at launch. Read this part carefully. That rate expires December 31, 2026. On January 1 it doubles to $1.50 and $7.50. So you have about four and a half months to figure out if this model earns its place before the economics change underneath you. The gains are real and they're pointed at agents. On DeepSWE it scores 65.3 percent against 49.0 for its predecessor. On AutomationBench, which measures whether a model can carry a business workflow to completion, it jumped from 17.0 to 30.4 percent. On web dev it now sits above Claude Sonnet 5 and GPT-5.6 Terra in blind user testing. Google also says it's better at recovering when it hits a roadblock and at holding instructions over long runs. That's the stuff that actually breaks agents in production. Not writing code, but getting stuck halfway and drifting. What to do with it. 1. Test it on document pipelines first. Invoice extraction, contract review, back office paperwork. Its PDF comprehension score nearly doubled and that's where cheap models usually fall apart. 2. Move your high-volume agent loops onto it. Not your hardest work. The repetitive runs where token cost compounds and you're currently overpaying. 3. Price everything you build at the January rate. If a workflow only works at 75 cents, you don't have a business, you have a promo. Model it at $1.50 and decide from there. 4. Keep routing. Google's own numbers show Terra still ahead on terminal work and Sonnet 5 still ahead on desktop and OS agent tasks. This wins in a lane, not everywhere. Two things nobody's mentioning. Most of these benchmarks are Google's own, and only the web dev one comes from blind independent testing. And the "half price" framing compares against 3.6's launch price, not what 3.6 costs today, because Google is currently running the same promo rate on both.

Sound logic prevails in ALL areas of business... AI too!
(START HERE) Welcome to Automation Academy! 🎉
Hey everyone - glad to have you here! Whether you joined for the classes, the community, or both, this will be the most valuable investment you've made if you actually use it. Most people join things like this and never do anything with them. Don't be that person. I created this community to help you grow in your business, career, your personal life, and connect with like-minded people who are actually doing the work. It's about you and I hope you enjoy everything my team and I have put into it. First thing - book your onboarding call with me: BOOK FREE ONBOARDING CALL This is a one-time call where we'll go over what you're trying to build and give you a custom roadmap. Most people skip this and wonder why they're not getting results. Don't skip it. New here and on the free plan? You still get access to the first 4 modules of every mastery course — check the "Free Preview" versions in the Classroom. Second thing - introduce yourself below: - What's your name? - Where are you based? - What made you join and what are you trying to build? I want to see where everyone's coming from and what you're working on. The courses cover AI video mastery, automation, sales frameworks, prompt engineering, GHL, and more. The AI space is evolving fast and I'm adding new stuff constantly so you have the most current training. Before you touch any course, watch the mindset videos. I know it sounds like something you'd skip. Don't. People who actually build stuff and get results watch these first. People who just collect courses and never execute skip them. The community part matters more than you think. Ask questions. Answer questions. Share what you're building. The people who engage here get way more out of it than the ones who lurk. That's just how it works. If you're looking to hire, get hired, or partner with someone, check the Partnerships section. Weekly Live Class (Code Brew): Every Thursday 8am - 9am PST. Bring your questions and anything you're stuck on. We go through it together live.

So glad I could finally carve out the time necessary to get started. If I don't do it, nobody else will do it for me.!
