Some of mine using the Italian method. I can wait to unlock level 2 however to see how I can improve these even more still!

Prom Macarons
My oldest daughter had her junior prom last night and I was in charge of dinner for her and her group of friends. Her lunch table are my macaron flavor “taste testers” and the girls all wanted my macarons for dessert. Each girl picked their favorite flavor and I got to work. I made over 250 so I could send some home with them the next morning. (All the girls stayed at my house last night too.) They are still not perfect, but Crystals recipe gave me so much more confidence going into this weekend and I’m so thankful. Flavors were: Pina Colada buttercream with Mango Curd Birthday Cake Buttercream Key Lime Pie Lemon buttercream with raspberry curd Banana Milkshake White Chocolate Ganache Cotton Candy buttercream Peanut Butter buttercream with brownie batter center Wild blueberry white chocolate ganache with lemon curd center

So beautiful!! I love your theme
Introduction
Hi Yall im from oklahoma, I joined this group because my husband loves macarons, ive never ate one but i LOVE sweets and making them so this is a wonderful group to find!
Hey Ya’ll!
I’m Heather, a teacher, baker, and mom of four from Oklahoma. I’ve been baking for years, but macarons are my current obsession… and humbling experience. 😅 I’m still pretty new to macarons and working on mastering all the little details that seem to have a mind of their own. One batch gives me beautiful feet, the next batch decides to crack, hollow out, or remind me who’s really in charge. I’m here to learn, soak up all the tips and tricks, share my successes (and failures), and hopefully connect with other macaron makers who have survived the learning curve. What’s the one piece of macaron advice you wish someone had given you when you first started?
