I want to learn how to play Lead Me Home by Jamey Johnson because it's one of my dad's favorite songs. In the live version, he plays by hyrbid picking. I'm wondering if hybrid pick has standard patterns like finger picking where you pluck the root note and then play a pattern with the remaining string of the chord. I can't really tell what he's doing in the video. I've tried but I'm not really sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
