Another day done. Went over creating 8 square sections in hair, correct scissor and comb technique, creating panels from sections and blunt cutting, following guidelines from previous cut. FADING - Learned fading system on mid/high taper, creating guidelines, fading out guidelines, detailing, point cut with shears, lineup. Started square layers with first 2 sections in the back. Some Graduation was covered - 45 degree angles, creating movement, Less hair to more hair. Positives: • Understood sections better, getting faster •able to hold scissor and comb and cut square section • combing, scissor dexterity improved • keeping tight comfortable posture with scissors Improve on: • cutting the back of head creating tension; uneven • Asking more questions • staying on track, veering off what’s demonstrated (creating different sections).
