I butchered my brother in law the week before and had him come in to redeem myself 😂 not where I want to be but feel like I’m progressing as the weeks go by I need to work on my technique/flick more and have more confidence in myself

Commitment to myself
I commit to building my dream self because I want to make something of this life that was given to me, and to show my dad that all the wisdom he instilled in me eventually paid off. To honour this commitment, I will keep holding myself to the standard of which my dream self would do, and want me to do. Steps I would take include: Consuming a healthy diet and continuing to go to the gym consistently throughout the week (maintain physical exercise), to ensure my body stays clean and active Positive self affirmation journalling in the morning to remind myself of who I am and what I'm capable of Spending quality time with those around me and sharing memorable experiences with them Consuming or practising at least one barbering-related thing each day
Commitment to myself
I commit to building my dream self, as cliche as it sounds to be genuinely “happy” and “fulfilled” but it goes beyond that. I’ve been doubted my whole life by everyone including my family so I want to change the narrative and show them it’s possible to do what you love rather than working a dead end job. Having my son made me realise there is so much more to life and sometimes you just have to take the leap of faith. I’m showing up for myself and chasing my childhood dream. To honour this commitment I will build a stronger mindset by stepping out of my comfort zone and allowing myself to embrace mistakes and learn from them. I will take every opportunity to cut as many heads as I can. I will commit to having a set routine to start my day mentally refreshed by waking up early and going to the gym. Having a balanced lifestyle • Spending quality time with my family • Investing in my career • Allowing myself to have time for friends and hobbies Strive for progress not perfection. Be patient with myself, every day is another opportunity to learn and grow. Seek for ways to up-skill, whether it’s learning from those who inspire me, videos and workshops etc. Set goals and write down how I can get there. Celebrate the small wins.
