One thing that helps when learning digital marketing is actually applying what you learn instead of just collecting courses and watching tutorials.
I’d use chatgpt.com to brainstorm campaign ideas, canva.com to create content, and floment.ai to keep notes, track tasks, and organize projects as I put those ideas into practice. Even a small campaign is more useful when you can track what you tried, what worked, and what you’d change next time. For those learning digital marketing, do you practice with your own projects or work on real client campaigns?

@Ankit Upadhyay Yepp. Getting feedback from 30 actual visitors gives you a hundred times more clarity than sitting through another 10 hours of content ever could. Having a single metric to watch makes the whole thing feel manageable too.
Question
Does a person needs to have an hosting account and domain if they only aiming at having a dream job, then wanting to build their own business?

Having your own live site is actually one of the best ways to stand out when applying for jobs because it serves as proof of your work. Most employers care much more about seeing what you can actually build and manage than just reading about it on a resume. Even if you start out aiming for employment, having a working domain gives you a sandbox to practice campaigns, showcase your portfolio, and later transition smoothly into your own business.
SEO
Since I am going through the SEO training modules, I am curious as to any changes about this topic that I should be aware of. From what I've seen so far, Google does not necessarily rank strictly on key words anymore and there are other factors that should be kept in mind...particularly the impact AI has on searches. While watching the first couple of trainings, I noticed that the rankings on the videos dated back to 2021. I'm sure a lot has changed over the past five years. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

You are definitely right that things have shifted since those videos were recorded, especially with Google prioritizing search intent and genuine user experience over exact keyword counts. The core principles around site structure, helpful content, and clean technical setup still carry over well, so the course gives you a solid foundation. Just focus on answering real user questions clearly and establishing authority rather than trying to optimize strictly for traditional keyword density.
Embracing client feedback.
If there is sufficient client engagement and you're adapting your strategic plans to meet the needs of identified niche clients, then yes, you, as a business, can learn how to optimize for your niche clientele given the feedback that you're getting from the niche clientele.

Listening to clients point out where something felt confusing or unnecessary usually shapes the service way faster than guessing on your own. It definitely takes humility to pivot the plan when the feedback challenges your initial setup, but building directly around what they actually value is how you keep them around.

Enjoying the training on SEO. I already had a working knowledge of SEO, however, this training is providing more insights. Thanks again @Scot Max. Another question: Since I am currently living in the Philippines, the search results seem to be defaulted to searching in this country, even though I installed the chrome extensions recommended by @Scot Max already with a U.S. setting. Thanks in advance for your help.

Even with a US extension, Google often pulls your physical location from your IP address or local browser language settings. You might need to change your search region directly under Google search settings or run through a US VPN server so it completely stops defaulting to local results.
