How many songs have you published on Spotify so far? 🎶
You can check this easily in Spotify for Artists → Music → Songs. I just checked mine: Amara Blue currently has 66 published songs, and another 5 are coming with the next EP — so basically 71 songs already. But here is the part I want to improve: Only 2 songs have passed 1,000 streams so far. So my next focus is not only creating more music, but also publishing more consistently AND going back to promote the songs that are already there. My next goals: • 100 published songs • At least 5 songs with 1,000+ streams It’s easy to keep creating the next song and forget about the previous 50 sitting quietly on Spotify. 😄 So I want to get much more intentional about promoting the catalog too. Now your turn 👇 - How many songs have you published? - What is your next publishing goal? - And how many of your songs already have 1,000+ streams? Write your numbers in the comments — let’s track our progress together. 🎯

It is so easy to get caught up creating the next batch that older releases end up completely forgotten. I keep my master catalog checklist inside Google Sheets and set reminders for back catalog promo pushes on Floment AI task tracking. Having clear rotation tasks makes returning to older tracks feel structured instead of like an afterthought.
taking back my time
just wrapped up this one and figured id share it. its a community project with one of my members. we build one at a time on the live calls, so a bunch of people had their hands on this. it did not end up where we planned. the room pushed it somewhere better. thats the part i still like about doing these together instead of alone.

Those live sessions always take wild turns once everyone starts pitching ideas. We usually keep our rough task lists in Floment while building out the tracks so we can see what the room actually changed. It keeps the chaos somewhat structured without killing the creative flow.
The AI tool stack I’d use if I had to start creating from scratch today
One thing I’ve noticed with AI: The hard part usually isn’t finding another tool. It’s actually finishing something. You can spend an entire afternoon testing image generators, music tools, prompts, ChatGPT workflows, niche research tools… …and somehow end the day with 47 browser tabs and nothing published. If I were starting from zero, I’d keep the workflow ridiculously simple: - ChatGPT / Claude → brainstorm the concept, research the niche, build prompts and flesh out ideas - AI image + music tools → actually create the content - MusicalSEO → validate music niches and see what people are already searching for - Floment → turn the idea into an actual project, break it into tasks, and keep the daily execution visible - YouTube / Spotify / social platforms → publish, get feedback, repeat The important part is the last step. Don't build a complicated “AI business system” before you've even made the first thing. Pick ONE idea. Make version 1. Publish it. Then improve it based on what happens. AI makes creating faster, but it doesn't remove the need for reps. Curious, what’s the first thing you’re actually trying to create with AI right now?

@Terrence Bullock 100% Terrence. That is the real test at the end of the day. It is easy to generate tons of tracks with AI, but getting that hook and melody right so people actually want to listen twice is where the real work happens. What tool are you finding gets you closest to that repeat factor right now?

@Luis Lara notepad is undefeated for quick notes, honestly🤣. But once you have multiple projects going it gets messy fast. Hope Floment helps clean up the workflow for you. Let me know what you think after you give it a spin!
YSong Update...
Hello all. So, as most of you know, I am slowly building a Suno AI killer myself. This past week, a huge chunk of the site has been complete. I managed to build YSong World where people can publish their music, comment on the songs, save the song to favorites, save the album, and follow the artist. I successfully have a nice online DAW going that allows you to use your already installed VST3 instruments and your plugged in real life instruments to build songs within the DAW using an external bridge. This has never been done. This bridge also uses audio drivers such as ASIO4ALL and WASAPI if you have them installed on your computer. And you can now export your final DAW builds into 16/24 bit wavs, flac (lossless), and mp3's of any kbps you choose from 64-320 kbps. At the moment, I am building effects, such as a compressor. And it won't be long that AI can build songs directly into the DAW. I already am using the OpenAI api for chatting with AI personas and it currently manages files in the asset drawers. The website is not public yet, as I am doing this locally off of my computer to save on cloud fees. Once it is ready, I'll figure out a way to make it cost effective and have it live for everyone. The AI currently can play any audio within your asset drawer, but soon generate songs into the DAW itself, or individual tracks.

Building a local web app from scratch while managing audio assets and API connections sounds intense. I use VS Code alongside Floment project cards to keep my development milestones and public progress updates organized in one place. It saves a ton of clutter when you are deep in a build.
Starting This Journey...
Hey everyone, really excited to be here. Very happy that i found this community on like minded people who want to build something with the power of AI. I just began my journey with my new YouTube channel with Deep House Music, built by AI: https://www.youtube.com/@DeepHouseManor I am busy making new music and videos, first song has just been uploaded to Distrokid and will be released in a few days. My main first question: Is there a rule/guideline to how many videos i can upload in a day with my new Youtube channel? I have heard to same different things from only uploading 1 a day, to getting out as many as possible, not knowing if one or the other will create a "red flag" for my new channel or no, or is this just a myth? I was watching the videos in the classroom and it says there get 300-500 songs out for your artist as soon as possible... I was a bit blown away by it but is this the way to go? I appreciate all the feedback i can get from you all. Frank

When pushing out high volume content, having a clear release schedule keeps you from burning out. I keep all my raw audio files and artwork organized in Google Drive and then plan my weekly publishing schedule inside Floment using project cards and task tracking. Having a dedicated workspace with built in to dos makes it much easier to stay on top of daily uploads without losing track of your releases. Focusing on steady, manageable consistency will protect your channel while keeping momentum high.
