4 contributions to AI AUTOMATION INSIDERS
I threw out 2,024 of my August numbers on purpose
I ran my August numbers and threw out 2,024 of them on purpose. That is how many messages my automations sent last month. Every one of them delivered. None of them are in the number I am about to show you. Jay has been saying it all week in here. The slop problem is not that the AI is bad. It is that the output looks like everything else the AI made. I found the sales version of that in my own CRM. 1,289 messages I typed myself in August. 1,105 of them emails, one person at a time, with real research behind each one. 439 texts off my own phone. 62 a day. Every day. 28 days straight. The published benchmark for personalized outreach is 15 to 17 a day. Meanwhile the phone side was dead. I had been dialing so much from one number that I burned it. No alert, no dashboard. The call rate fell off a cliff, so I dialed my own cell from it. Spam Likely. Right there on my screen. 67 people answered out of 1,278 dials. One in nineteen. 41 closed. Best unit month I have ever had. 34 live calls the whole month. Do the math on where the rest came from. Here is the uncomfortable read for a room full of builders. The automated 2,024 ran flawlessly and I cannot point at a single close from them. The 1,289 I typed by hand carried the month. I am not saying stop automating. I automate more than most people in here. I am saying I know exactly which half of my stack made the money, and it was the half that does not scale. That is the thing worth solving next, and I do not have it solved yet. 👇 If you have an automation that runs clean and still does not convert, put the number below and what you think is actually missing. I read every one of these. Ian Ryan Kirk

That split between high volume automation and high touch outreach is something so many builders run into once campaigns scale. What worked best for me was using automations strictly for initial sorting, then giving each qualified reply its own space for manual research. I store lead dossiers in Google Drive and run Floment AI project cards to track each personal conversation stage without dropping context.
How to share AI Brain/OS Skills in a Company setting?
I know how to create an AI brain, skills, wiki, etc., and for my own business, I have done that and saved everything to a Google Drive folder that is also on my desktop and in the cloud. I also work as a fractional COO integrator for a UK-based company, and we have team members all over the world. What I want to know is how we set this up in a company setting so that everybody can access the skills. Perhaps there are certain team members who can update skills, while others are just able to use and access them. For example, we want to create an agent that triages the inbox and drafts replies. We also want an agent that turns blog posts into carousels, maintains brand voice, and manages all sorts of things. How do we share this in a company setting? We are all using Claude.

Setting up shared access across a distributed team can definitely get complicated when everyone tries to pull from the same folder. We usually keep our core docs in Google Drive while tracking ongoing tasks in Floment so the team stays aligned on what is actually running. It keeps the operational side pretty straightforward.
Dedication over Solvation
recently I have struggeling with Fokus and Motivation, what am I doing, why am I doing, where do I really wonna go with all this, and so worth, this sunday morning when i woke, a thought came into my mind, why are monks seem to be so fully happy and always satisfied no matter what happens, I quickly figured, its their dedication to a cause, NOT the constant achievement of yet another monetary goal or similar stuff.. NOW, not that I personally would believe in any of this religious nonsense, but that aspect to be considered, keeps you thinking much straighter all of sudden again. all the best, Thomas Klein Marketing Consulting

I totally get that struggle with staying focused when chasing endless goals instead of just building. Pairing Notion for notes with Floment for project cards and daily task tracking has helped me stay grounded in actual execution rather than just planning. Flowie has also been great for breaking down big ideas into simple daily steps without getting overwhelmed. When you shift your workspace into a daily routine, the execution takes care of itself.
What's your biggest bottleneck right now?
Drop it below. Curious what everyone's actually dealing with.

My biggest bottleneck used to be bridging the gap between high level strategy and daily execution without getting stuck in planning mode. I map out my initial ideas inside Notion, but my workflow always stalled when trying to turn those documents into daily momentum. Moving that build phase into Floment AI made a huge difference using project cards and task tracking to stay on top of daily execution. Having the built in Flowie AI to automatically break down complex goals into actionable to dos keeps my momentum steady every day.
