@Brandon Smith yeah, I love to look at everything from different angles, play with the idea and when combined with some creativity, see what comes out of it :) Being weird is fun :)

@Sofiya Pierce Thank you <bows>! I have many more *weird* ideas - but my video making/editing skills need to catch up to be able to create them :) Like this "dog POV" style at the beginning of this video: https://youtu.be/If8TaQ5OnVQ
How are you enjoying the weekend?
On the weekend I like to celebrate my achievements over the week. We are currently at #42 on discovery ❤️‍🔥 Thank you for all the fish. IYKYK Currently enjoying the sun with a smoothie and one of the best finales of a high fantasy audiobook. I am always looking for gems that would make a nice addition to my collection consisting of the best stories. (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars) How are you enjoying the weekend? Bonus points if you include wins. 💯

@Lukas Schmidt
I Read 12 Books in 2 Months...
So, I recently binged all 12 books of He Who Fights With Monsters in the past 2 months after @Lukas Schmidt recommended it to me, and I have to say... It’s one of the wildest LitRPG/progression fantasy rides I’ve ever been on. Between Jason’s chaotic humor, the insane worldbuilding, and the surprisingly deep philosophy, I walked away with 3 key lessons. 1. Power Doesn’t Fix Your Problems—It Exposes Them Jason might be one of the most reluctant heroes I’ve ever read... Every time he levels up or gains a new ability, his inner demons, insecurities, and questionable choices rise right alongside. It’s a reminder that gaining strength (in life or in a LitRPG system) doesn’t magically solve everything, it just gives you new problems to wrestle with. This one hit deep. 2. Morality Is Messy One of the things I loved most is how the series constantly challenges the idea of “good guys vs. bad guys.” Jason is moral, but not nice. Villains sometimes make sense. Heroes sometimes make brutal choices. It really drove home the idea that growth means living in the gray areas and owning the consequences. This is something I don't think most of us consider very often anymore... 3. Humor is a Weapon (and a Shield) Jason’s sarcastic, self-aware humor is not just comic relief; it’s survival. He uses it to build friendships, defuse tension, and sometimes to cover up his own fear or pain. Honestly, it made me rethink how often we use humor in real life the same way, to protect ourselves while we figure things out. It's something I see as a trauma therapist with my clients as well, but this gave me a whole new view into my clients minds, and my own tbh. Has anyone else here binged the whole thing? What were your big takeaways?

A Wizard meets a wild Goose 🧙‍♂️🪿
Starting a business can be a lonely journey, but a community is the perfect antidote. Instead of playing the great online game by yourself, you can turn it into a multiplayer game. After all, everything is more fun if you do it with friends. Over the last week, I experienced this firsthand when Goose and his team stayed at my place. Goose won the Skool Games last year and is now travelling the world with his team, hosting 30+ IRL events. He is called Goose because he is just a silly goose. Check out the video below for some proof. We leveled up communities in the morning, shot ads in the evening, and played video games at night. Everything happened in a constant state of flow, where we felt our best and performed our best. The whole week was effortless and fun because we were able to support each other with our unique superpowers: - Goose Dunlav is the master of engagement. - Yahya Kazi is crushing it in the operations. - Tony Loew is a nomad expert planning all travels. - Vincent Roswandowicz is capturing the best moments. - I was able to contribute my synthesizer knowledge and gamification expertise. Together, we did more than we ever could alone. Constant feedback and support made the whole greater than the sum of its parts. To dive deeper into my lessons, you can check out this post in Synthesizer. I am already excited for the next IRL event on the 16th of August in Amsterdam. What is the next time you are going to meet your people in person?

The game called life...
[ @Lukas Schmidt asked me to cross-post this here, please don't shoot me 🙏] Imagine for a moment that all we experience every day is just a very advanced virtual reality and you are the main character... Are you happy with how your character is developing? (yes, but took loooooong time...) What class are you playing? (paladin/teacher + packing mule ;) What level did you reach by now based on the exp collected so far? (mid-game, lvl42 :) What is the next "boss" you are training to beat next? (EnTeRpReNeUrShIp :-o ) 🤙 Now its your turn!
