Doffo vineyard in Temecula, CA has some great blends. Very beautiful grounds.The theme is Italian motorcycles and cowboy vibe.Good wines, excellent service, and the best wine I’ve had in this area which I normally don’t like.

Caymus-Suisun Redgale Vineyard 2022 Grenache from Solano County, California. This wine is modeled after France’s Châteauneuf-du-Pape style which we enjoyed last night, the Domaine Lou.The vines, I read are head-trained and grown in deep red soil embedded with large stones, with strong winds and abundant sunlight driving the vineyard’s unique terroir.The wine maker talks in details about how this small vineyard that has the SF Bay in the distance gets 20 mile an hour wind and that these vines started in 2018 are really starting to make great wine. Nose: Strawberry, pomegranate.Very smooth and bold fruit compote of red fruit… Very nice after a few hours of pickleball 🤣
