Day off to go run chores in Phoenix. Denim, t-shirt, AE shoes, ancient Serengeti sunglasses.

@Robert Woodhouse i’ve had very good luck with Thursday boot. I have four pairs of boots and two of sneakers. They have excellent customer service and if you need to return anything, it’s not a problem for either a refund or an exchange. But like you, my go to is also Allen Edmonds. The quality fit and Customer Service is unsurpassed. I’ve been wearing Allen Edmonds shoes for over 25 years. 👍🏻

@Robert Woodhouse heck yeah brother. I JUST retired 2 pairs of AE that I got in the late 90’s they both got heels, soles and re-crafted during their life . 👍🏻. I would’ve kept them, but my feet are a little bit longer than they were back then.
Ruth's Chris enforcing dress code
Diners heading to their nearest Ruth’s Chris Steak House may want to think twice before topping off their outfit with a baseball cap. The upscale steakhouse chain is reminding guests that its dining rooms maintain a “business casual” dress code — and that hats are not allowed at the table. https://people.com/ruth-s-chris-steak-house-says-proper-attire-required-in-dress-code-notice-11925810

This is very encouraging. I can’t stand walking into any public place and guys still have their hats on. You walk into a building, the hat comes off your head. It’s that simple.
Funeral Visitation
An older friend passed away recently and his visitation was tonight. ID was a full time farmer and part time business man. His obituary described him perfectly; he was a gentleman’s gentleman. Therefore I decided to wear my suit, although I expected to be one of very few (if any) dressed to that level. It is a rural area, so mostly only the older folks dress up. Glen Plaid suit by Paul Betenly-charcoal colored Light blue dress shirt-David Donahue Tie-Blue Foulard silk from The Dark Knot (Thanks, @Antonio O. Centeno !) Shoes- Allen Edmond burgundy wingtip brogues (Thanks, eBay) Belt-Anson burgundy Socks- dark blue Calvin Klein Pocket Square- dark blue, no pattern I’d like the coat to be cut an inch longer, and my pants need to be re-pressed…they drape oddly at the bottom. Otherwise, I think I’m good to go! Accompanied, of course by my wife of 44 years, Cindy.

@Mitch Hoover sorry for the loss of your friend. It’s always tough. But you definitely did him right you and your lady. You both are very stylish and respectfully dressed for occasion.
Haircut
Just got done with a hair cut at the boardroom. And I love this.

@Nate Frost you just can’t beat that feeling with a fresh cut. Roll with it, my man.
3/13/2026 Leaving the Fish Fry
We grabbed a quick photo as we left this evening’s fish fry at The Shamrock Club Once again this week I put together an outfit based on a sweater, this one has a brown block pattern on it. With it I am wearing a brown cap and red bow tie. As we are about to leave I have my blue jacket on.
