Feeling grateful today ๐Ÿ™
I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to every single one of you for being here and trusting Omni Guitars enough to join us on this journey. This brand is being built with you, not just for you, and that means more to me than I can put into words. Weโ€™ve got big goals. We want to build something positive, community-driven, and give back in meaningful ways through music. None of that happens without you showing up, participating, and believing in what weโ€™re building together. Quick reminder ๐ŸŽธ Our next FREE guitar giveaway winner will be selected on Friday, May 1stโ€ฆ which is only 7 days away! On a personal noteโ€ฆ I want to say thank you for your patience with me too. Iโ€™ve become a bit more introvert this past year, so I sometimes feel like I donโ€™t post as much as I should. But please know Iโ€™m here every day reading your posts, liking your comments, and doing my best to stay engaged and help this community grow. It means a lot when you take the time to post, comment, or encourage another member. Thatโ€™s how we all level up together ๐Ÿ’ช Seriouslyโ€ฆ thank you for being part of this. The journey is just getting started โค๏ธ Excited to see who wins this guitar next Friday! Best of luck to you all ๐ŸŽธ

I've enjoyed the community, the friendships, the conversations, all of it. And Taylor, you're a huge part of that. You actively engage, when I see a like from you it means a lot. I've been an introvert all my life. As a child, up to about nine years old, I was deaf - so I was the weird kid who got beat up a lot. Spent a lot of time alone, and so even now, as a performer, I make sure it's the music and the instrument folks come to see AND NOT ME! But in this space it's different. You're family, you're supportive, you're helping me grow daily. I love everything about this space!
Hand warm ups?
Due to my recent injuries in my hands from the auto accident, Iโ€™ve been wondering what do all of you do to loosen up strengthen and work with your hands or fingers when youโ€™re not playing guitar to make them better? Give me some ideas of things I can do to help restrengthen my fingers. I tried playing three songs today and they hurt worse than Iโ€™ve ever experienced playing guitar!

Completely unrelated (similar in question, different in scale) the story of Django Reinhardt and how he had to relearn playing after basically destroying his fingering hand in a caravan fire. I just googled that, bit long to share here, but some of the exercises and techniques he came up with.... ๐Ÿคฏ
Progress isn't always a straight line.
Doing arpeggios and runs and etudes and scales for weeks or months on end can get old. We often think we're not getting anywhere, we're not learning new things, we're "stuck". But doing an old standard with someone new or for someone new, we might see how we've changed and progressed. Evolution and skill building isn't an instantaneous thing. I think, if it were, we'd likely take it for granted.

St. Pat's Irish Pub Set?
I've been building a chordpro fake-book sharing app for a while now, basically something similar to ultimate guitar but with things I wanted: - Offline capable (you can create and edit songs and sets even offline), - Easy edit/view mode, - Sessions - if I host a session, others can join and get the collection I've shared for the session, along with real-time transposition. It was mostly to see if I could, and because I go to family jams and they all find the same song in different keys... Anyway, long story short, I've got a collection of Irish folk songs here: https://gigwidget.vercel.app/shared/collection/1dae0155-1c45-4ffc-9c50-940910685826 Let me know if you find them useful, or if you'd like to see others added.

Who has?
Just wondering how many of you have actually named your guitars? Itโ€™s something Iโ€™ve tried to do but I have a hard time with it not becoming weird or some overly complicated thing. So if you did. How did you go about it and what helps you in naming them? Sadly I have on named the one I made as the angel guitar because of the image in it.
