Hello there
Joining from Michigan, USA. I have been in love with fairies for many years and recently decided to throw a fairy party for my next birthday (it’s in April so I have plenty of time)! I love Mary’s content on IG and was excited to see there was a community! Looking forward to getting to know people, seeing what others create, and finding inspiration again. πŸ§šβ€β™‚οΈ I love creating fairy gardens, making fairy theme greeting cards, doing anything crafty and am obsessed with tiny things. Here’s a card I made my cousin for her birthday.

@Mary Bachmann Thank you! I’m already excited about the tutorials and info! I ordered some of your suggested tools and some of your fairy houses last night! πŸŽ‰πŸ’œ

@Ali Rood hi Ali, I’m near Novi, MI
Hello!
I'm very excited to join the group and follow along with others projects and inspirations. We recently purchased a cabin and I'm adding little fairy details around the cabin for guests to explore. I made this fairy house for the fireplace mantel and have two fairy doors in the bedrooms. Next step is to create a fairy trail outside!

Welcome Stephanie! What a fun thing to do. Do you rent out the cabin or just have people that visit?
Seeking input: Twig Arch
This is a piece I started last year after becoming obsessed with dried vines curly tendrils. It's a combination of twigs, glue and paper wrapped wire to create structure (paper wrapped wire has been amazing for blending in). I am debating how much I want to fill in the form, with more curly twigs, brown wire to create structure in a repeated pattern, or dried flowers/lichen... is it nice being so airy or does it need more substance for the shape to read? It also does not have a home destination yet, so could live inside. Maybe with a potted plant and have something petite like Ceropegia growing on it? Welcoming any thoughts!

Love this! And the sweet puppy dog eyes πŸ₯Ί The shape reads nicely just as it is.

@Erika Hagen yeah, mine would just be judging me for bringing sticks in the house when she’s not allowed to πŸ˜‚
Scale
Just wondering what size we are working with for this project? I know it’s mini but can we get a scale for something please. I think my bench is too large. Thanks

Scale? I think I’m in over my head already! That sounds like math πŸ˜‚
My Very First Fairy House and I'm in Love
Here is my first fairy house that I made the other night. We have an old woodpile in our yard so bark is readily available and I'm a gatherer of sticks, rocks, shells, etc., as I suppose most here are. I will add some moss to the log when it dries up here. So fun and I only burned my fingers twice.
