11 contributions to Selling Online / Prime Mover
Quick question, guys 👀
How do you actually sell online as a beginner? (And please — no generic “post content and wait” type of advice 🙅‍♂️) Here’s mine: 👉 Cold emailing. Do it as much as you can. Because honestly, that’s the only way you start opening real opportunity doors. Now your turn — what worked for you when you were starting out?

@Jake Hill Cold emailing isn’t really about finding random emails and blasting them… that’s why most people fail. The real method feels almost invisible when done right — it makes the person open, read, and reply without even realizing they were “cold pitched"
💡 Dan Kennedy Truth: “People don’t buy prevention, they buy cure.”
This line hits hard, especially when you're trying to sell something transformational, helpful, or even life-changing... but nobody's biting. Here’s why: Most people should want to prevent problems (burnout, stress, poor health, bad habits)… But they don’t because prevention doesn’t hurt. People act when the pain is: - Urgent - Real - Uncomfortable Examples: - “My back hurts and I can’t sleep.” - “My ads are bleeding money.” - “I’m in debt and stressed out.” That’s when they take action and decide to act. 🧠 Ask yourself: Does your offer solve an urgent pain, or is it a nice-to-have? If it’s the latter, you’ve got a positioning problem. You can: - Reframe it as a cure - Or target the rare few who buy prevention (smaller, harder market) 💬 Let's Discuss: 1. Your offer 2. The pain it solves 3. Is it urgent to your market? I’ll give feedback if needed.

@Stephen Littler hi
Something strange happened when I tested this
I tried a simple strategy in last week and the result shocked me, no ads, no fancy software, no huge budget… yet the store pulled in more traffic in 3 days than the last 3 weeks combined. The crazy part? Most people overlook this because it looks “too basic” to work. I’ll break down exactly what I did… but first I’m curious What do you think the strategy was? Ads? Content? SEO? Something else?
