ESSENTIAL READS : Atomic Habits by James Clear ⚛️
In an effort to provide as much value as possible, I will begin posting summaries of the books I am reading, as well as a free copy of the book if you'd like to read and share your insights. I will add all of these to the "Library" Chat. Synopsis: - Build Habits Automatically: The more a habit integrates into your life, the less you need external motivation to maintain it. - 1% Better Every Day: Small, daily improvements compound over time, leading to significant progress. Just 1% better each day can make you nearly 37 times better in a year. - Patience with Potential: Major changes require persistence. The most impactful results of habits are often delayed, so stay patient and consistent. - The Habit Loop: Understand the cycle of cue, craving, response, and reward. Mastering this loop helps in building sustainable habits. - Continuous Improvement: Regularly reassess and refine your beliefs and habits to become the best version of yourself. - Habit Stacking: Link new habits to existing ones to make them easier to adopt. - Join a Supportive Culture: Surround yourself with people who embody the habits you want to cultivate. Shared goals and support enhance habit formation. - Never Miss Twice: Missing once is a mistake, missing twice forms a new bad habit. Get back on track immediately after a slip-up. - Align with Natural Abilities: Build habits that suit you naturally. Don't force yourself into habits that others find popular. - Consistency Over Motivation: True progress comes from staying committed even when motivation wanes. The ability to keep going when it's tough makes all the difference.

Hey bro thanks for the summary, I have been meaning to read this book. I will provide updates on my progress on escaping the system soon.
GOAT TALK
Act on your first instinct every time. There's no need to wait and plan out each and every step that you THINK you'll need to take. You're honestly not making progress by doing all that thinking. Once you take action you'll start to see what actually works and what simply doesn't. From there, you just start having fun with the learning process and watch the results slowing come in. But you HAVE to take action to see any results at all, good or bad results both help the process trust me. Usually your first instinct is the best option, you're smarter than you give yourself credit for sometimes 🤷🏽‍♂️ - 🐐

I justed wanted to share, this is my second week in the gym. I'm making progress, results will come in due time but wjat I do know gaining weight it expensive. I'm doing the best I could right now and pushing through.
GOAT TALK
Most people don't reach the goals/dreams simply because they're too scared to chase them. They begin to overthink and over complicate what actually needs to be done. If you've never done something before, then how are you gonna map out each step you take and expect them all to be 100% right. It's literally not possible. If y'all knew my long term goals/dreams y'all would think i'm insane or crazy cause of how huge they are. And some of them, I genuinely have no clue how I'm going to achieve them 🤷🏽‍♂️ but yet I'm moving towards them and getting closer every single day. The way you get good at something is by taking steps in the direction you wanna go and learn along the way. You have to fall down to learn how to walk. Stop the overthinking and comparing your story to someone else's success story thinking it'll be the same for you. It might be easier if you... but you'll never know by watching from the slide lines and talking about what you think would've worked better etc. - 🐐

One of my goals for the year is to reach 150LB, I gained 10LB so far 30 more to go. I recently started playing basketball and I'm starting the gym next week. Just trying to get better little by little.
GOAT TALK
Don't be so hard on YOU. Be easy on yourself and give yourself grace for all the things you've been through and the fact that you're still here today. You are literally your only true friend most of your life, so why be a bad friend to yourself. Would you shit talk your close friend if their parent just died? Or maybe just having a bad day? No, you're going to attempt to make them feel better... so do that for yourself all day everyday. Be your own bestfriend and love yourself so much that if nobody else loves you then it doesn't even matter 🤷🏽‍♂️ I love myself more than y'all love your moms. That's why I continue to succeed in anything I do. All you need is YOU. Be your own motivator, therapist, coach, teacher and anything you think you made need. It starts with you and it finishes with you, you don't need anyone else. - 🐐

This is the first snd realest shit I heard this morning. Well said
Did you try today?
No, this time be honest with both of us. Did you try today? It’s a Saturday so I understand it’s difficult. I honestly even find myself slacking a little bit more than usual… BUT THEY DONT. So how could I? Elon isn’t taking today off. Zuckerburg? MrBeast? YOU don’t have to move mountains to make a day successful. But you do have to try. MORE content will be coming these next few weeks to provide even more valuable, but at that point it’s up to you. If you took action yesterday, well…who knows?
