Thank you once more, Taylor. Two questions: 1. Did you moisturize the leaf litter by spraying it with water? 2. Do you take extra care with hand hygiene using soap or soaking hands in vinegar before handling the litter and the hyphae?
Winter IMO Collection Method(?)
I’m looking for ways to do two things: 1. Catch IMO in winter 2. Explore lower barrier to entry tasks you can accomplish when it comes to IMO I think this has some real potential—seen some folks do it on YouTube. The thing you miss is the IMO you catch in the forest by leaving a container in there is gonna have all of the environmental factors (weather, temp fluctuations, yeast floating in on the wind, etc.). So doing a “lab-like” indoors approach isn’t gonna result in the exact same thing…but, it’s gonna get you SOMEthing 😂

Wow, Taylor! Pretty white and clean ... as you put it. My indoor collection attempts always failed. I like your setup. Will try to replicate this.

Wanted to show you guys something--it's about to be released across platforms but still tinkering and getting the finishing touches done. You guys will have access to the finished version (of course) but for now I wanted to get it out to ya in case you're wanting additional help. (This version is missing a few pages -- if it looks a tiny bit incomplete it's probably because this version is).

Wow. Thank you for ebook. A lot of work went into this. Much appreciated. Looking forward to the winter chores.
A forest garden in the Bavarian Forest (first year after moving in)
Finally, but better late than never, I get to give a litte impression of our garden. I hope the audio on that cell phone vid is okay. Many greetings from the other side of the Atlantic where many are closely observing what is happening in the U.S. and how they are going to look like after four years under the current administration. I was lucky to be a teaching assistant for the small German Department at Whitman College in Walla Walla back in 2004/5. Filled with great experiences and encounters with lovely folks I returned to Germany hoping to return to the U.S. one day. Unfortunately my memories don't quite match up with what I see on the news these days. So yeah, as Taylor pointed out, gardening is not only a question of subsistence, resilience, self-reliance, health and climate protection but, at times, also a good distraction from the crude attempts of undermining democracies not just in the U.S. but in Germany as well.

Thank you for your kind compliments.
How's it going so far?
Hey all! I want to hit pause for a second and check in--how are we doing with the educational stuff on the Korean Natural Farming inputs (classroom)? Are there any gaps in your understanding you want me to go back and explain? Are there things I touched on that need some more space devoted to them? Comment here with questions or 👍s to let me know if we should keep going through the inputs or if we need to do something different! My goal here is to make this all as accessible and understandable so let me know what you need 😁

School year has started for me (teacher for children with special needs). The usual chaos in the beginning. But I will get to two IMO collections end of September before it gets too cold in the forest.

My family and I live in the Bavarian Forest (not the Alps!). We moved into our house last August. We have 2500 qm/0,6 acres garden area.
