Hello everyone, Alex invited me to join this group and to introduce myself. My name is Thomas, and I have a day job with an HR company. I have always been a very creative person, and playing music has been an integral part of my life for over 25 years. Another one of my creative passions is knitting, which I fell into originally to impress a woman back in 2010. She didn't seem to care, but I realized how much fun the craft is and have been keenly doing it ever since. My goal is to make a business selling my pattern designs and teaching courses. I attached my most recent creation: an old school knit Ninja Turtle action figure. I'm sure anyone 35 and up will recognize the toy it is based on. I also attached a fun stop motion animation I made with my knit skateboarder design. I hope you enjoy it, and I look forward to being a part of this group!

No matter how many times I revise my to-do list or envision a “new me,” I’m always in pursuit of the “perfect” day. Sometimes I come remarkably close with little room for improvement, other times I take a well-deserved, doom-scroll driven loss. Yet, that never deters me from rising the next day, ready to conquer it all! A new initiative: this Batman mask is my evening reminder to be the hero of my own story. The hero embraces the path of challenge and purpose, discounting the road of comfort and ease. A silly symbol, but simple reminder that we chose the unpaved path!
