The tree shelf wall taking form in the store, but not completely done yet. 🌲🪾Still more to do tomorrow. It was really tricky to find pieces that matched the next part. And saw it correctly and at exact angle 😅 gosh! But I think it’s turning out nice… still one more smaller branch in the middle That’s gonna turn to the left. So the middle one is gonna be smaller. I’ll post update when it’s all done tomorrow.

I think this is something we struggle with over and over again: accepting gifts. And it is kind of crazy, because we know how full our hearts feel when we give something to someone and make them happy 💛 And yet, on the other side, we find it so hard to receive. I believe it has a lot to do with self worth. I have reflected on this many times before. And the topic came up again recently. I even found myself tearing up while watching that video of @Natalie Duff receiving those textured rollers from @Lori Turner. That was so kind and heartwarming🥹 And it made me realize that maybe we should stop resisting the love that others are trying to give us. They simply want to show us how much they appreciate us, how much we mean to them, and to bring us joy ✨ And if we block that or push it away, we might even take away their joy of giving. Maybe it is time we allow that in 🤍 I wish you all a beautiful day. May we accept every smile, every gift, and every kind word that comes our way today 🌸 And we do not always have to balance it out with a gift or a return. We do not have to earn it. We can simply receive it for what it is 🌿 Let us learn to do that. Let us work on it, together 💫

Even though I haven’t stepped into my studio for the past four days and haven’t spent much time on pottery lately, I still had a little win today 😊 Amazon delivered these fantastic lids, and of course I had to test them on my cups. And guess what? One of them fits perfectly. No leaks at all. I basically turned a regular cup into a to go cup, and I am way happier about that than I probably should be 😄 Now I can take my cappuccino with me in the car tomorrow. Small things, big joy.🤩 Have any of you tried these lids that press into the cup with a kind of rubber seal? I think you can also get them on Temu. I would love to hear your experiences. Also, if I wanted to throw cups specifically for these kinds of lids, is there anything I should keep in mind? Any tips or things to watch out for? I will be back in the studio starting tomorrow, finally. But tonight I will spend my evening catching up on your videos. I have a lot to watch 👀✨

Some of you may know if had a lot of challenges with my kiln this past year. After finally getting my husband to look into it again we replaced another relay and removed a burnt plug. He just hard wired it in and now it finally finished my bisque load. Yay!

Yesterday I tried Silk Screen Printing using Mayco Silk Screens and Amaco Inks ❤️was so excited to see the pieces come out of the kiln today 💕
