🧭 Where AI is heading... and what it means for your firm
A year ago, AI answered your questions. Now it's starting to message you first. In a recent live session I walked through the biggest shift I've seen since I started using AI in 2023... and why every big AI company has just built the same thing. In the video I cover: • The three waves: chat, agents on your computer, and now a team of agents working in the cloud • What's new from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Grok and Meta, and why they all landed on one idea • The privacy question when your files move to the cloud • "Black October" and five practical security steps, from checking your website to using a password manager • My three predictions for where it goes next You don't need to be at the bleeding edge. Get the most from the tools you already use first. The recording is below 👇 Which wave are you in right now... 1, 2 or 3? 👇

🔒 The PHP security flaw in the news... what it means for your firm’s website
This week governments, hospitals and big companies took websites offline to avoid being hacked. The cause is two serious flaws in PHP. That’s the software running quietly behind most websites, including every WordPress site. Attackers can use them to take over a website, and they’re already trying. The fix is out. But it only protects you once it’s been applied. If your firm’s website runs on WordPress, here’s what to do this week: - Find out who hosts your site (your web designer will know) - Ask your host to confirm your site has had this week’s PHP security update - If you’re on an old version of PHP (8.1 or earlier), ask to upgrade... those won’t be fixed - Make sure you have a recent backup first - Update WordPress, your plugins and your theme - Remove any plugins or old sites you no longer use If you’re on Squarespace, Wix or similar, the platform looks after this for you. Not sure what to say to your host? Ask ChatGPT or Claude to write the email for you. Mention “this week’s PHP vulnerabilities” and ask them to confirm your site is patched. Most firms I speak to don’t know what their website is built on. Do you? 👇

@Ines Loewe Hey Ines. I am hoping to learn more about how to work with AI. My goal is to establish another business. What are your goals?

@Ines Loewe Yes I have been full of ideas and also tried a couple of projects. Admittedly they did not work out, but that is not where it ends. Thanks for reaching out and all be best with your online ventures.
