Sunday Reset 🌸
Sundays aren’t about being productive for me… they’re about creating peace for the week ahead. Because I’ve learned the hard way, if I don’t prepare, I end up reacting. And reacting is where stress, chaos, and ā€œwhat the hell am I doingā€ energy lives. So this is my Sunday reset. Nothing fancy. Just the things that keep my life and business from spiraling mid-week: 🫧 I clean + reset my space Not perfectly… just enough so I don’t wake up Monday already feeling behind. šŸ›’ Groceries + planning ahead Either I go get them, or I make my list so I can order early in the week. Less running around = more breathing room. šŸ“† I look at my week as a whole Not in an overwhelming way… just a simple check-in: What’s coming up? Where do I need to actually focus? šŸŽÆ I flag anything that needs real concentration If I have something important (client work, meetings, deep focus tasks), I make sure I have the time and space for it, sometimes that means lining up childcare. šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’» I organize my planner Nothing intense… just mapping out: Who I need to check in with What days I’ll do things Where my energy needs to go And here’s the real reason I do all of this… It’s not to control my week. It’s to support myself inside it. Because things WILL come up. Kids, clients, life… all of it. But when I’ve already given myself a loose plan? I don’t spiral when something shifts.I adjust. And that’s the difference. It’s not about having everything figured out. It’s about not starting your week in survival mode. If your weeks feel chaotic or reactive right now…try this. Not perfectly. Just intentionally. Even 30–60 minutes of preparing your week can change everything. And if you want, I can turn this into a super simple plug-and-play reset template for you. Lets me know. Happy Reset!!!

Starting a Virtual Assistant biz isn’t the hard part… getting clients is
You can: - pick your services - set up your pages - learn the skills There are a million ways to do that. But getting clients? That’s where most people get stuck. Not because you're not capable…But because no one really shows you how to actually do it. So what happens? You end up: - tweaking your services over and over - second-guessing yourself - posting and hoping someone magically finds you And when it doesn’t work… it feels like you’re the problem. You’re not. You’ve just been shown a very passive way of building a business. Here’s the shift I want you to start making: āŒ Stop asking: ā€œWhy aren’t clients finding me?ā€ āœ… Start asking: ā€œWhere can I go find people who already need help?ā€ That looks like: - checking job boards (like Indeed) - being in spaces where people are actively asking for support - starting conversations instead of waiting for them Because clients aren’t hiding from you. They’re just not seeing you yet. And visibility isn’t just posting content…It’s putting yourself in the right places on purpose. If you want to take a more proactive approach to getting clients (instead of sitting back and hoping it works), I go deeper into this inside my Get Clients + Get Paid Classroom šŸ¤Ž It’s all about simple, real-life ways to actually land clients, not just learn about it.

Working from home sounds amazing, but...
Okay, I wanted to share this because it came up in a conversation today and I know SO many of you are either thinking about becoming a VA or are just getting started. Working from home sounds amazing (and it is in a lot of ways)… but I think there’s a side of it that people don’t talk about enough. Yes, you get flexibility. Yes, you get to be home with your kids. Yes, you’re building something for yourself. But it’s also not the ā€œeasyā€ route. When you work for yourself, you’re the one responsible for everything. There’s no clocking in and out and just getting paid. You have to find the clients, do the work, manage your time, and actually follow through. And honestly… not everyone is built for working from home. It takes a LOT of discipline, organization, and self-motivation. Especially when you’re used to a 9–5 where everything is structured for you. At home, there are distractions everywhere. Laundry, kids, life… it’s so easy to slip into ā€œI’ll do it laterā€ mode. You really have to create structure for yourself. Things like: - Having set work hours - Creating a dedicated workspace - Setting boundaries around your time Those aren’t just ā€œnice to haveā€ā€¦ they’re what actually make this work long-term. And I think one of the biggest shifts people have to make is going from an employee mindset to an entrepreneur mindset. That alone can be a huge learning curve. So if you’re feeling like this is harder than you expected… you’re not doing anything wrong. There’s just a lot that goes into making this lifestyle actually work. I’ll be sharing more behind the scenes of how I structure my days, how I manage everything, and what’s worked for me so you can start figuring out what works for you too. And as always, if you have questions, drop them in the community. I’m always happy to help šŸ¤Ž
