I'm not sure I follow. I get it that we first set up a Canvas and write the prompt that will make it spit out a newsletter output. But to get the newsletter content, we just give it a topic (theme)? And it writes something for us? This is more like an email touchpoint than the newsletters like some of us do, right? How can it be used to help us with those Local newsletters? My apologies if this is a dumb question. šŸ¤”

ChatGPT-5 Introduction video from OpenAI and Sam Altman
This is the video on the home page of OpenAI https://youtu.be/0Uu_VJeVVfo Pretty interesting. They talk about the new features of GPT-5 and what it's good at.

Chat bot? What chat bot?
I have people sending me questions via email or text ... I asked them if they considered asking my chat bot? "No" is all I've gotten back. It's there. Hard to miss. Are people getting blind to them? Most Chatbots are dumb as rocks and not worth your time....

I think the older style "chatbots" tainted the whole idea in a way. Because, as you say, @David Schwartz, they were dumb as rocks.
Need your suggestions please - Wine Bot
UPDATE: Over the past week or so, I've finished the butcher's spotlight article, did an in-person quick demo of the Wine Pairing Pal (he was busy), sent a link to the WPP so he could play with it, and just finished the follow up zoom meeting to finalize the business spotlight article and pitch the WPP. He liked it but didn't seem all that enthusiastic. He said he was pretty cash strapped. Maybe that's why he wasn't all that enthusiastic. He only marks his wine up 40% over cost so his margins aren't that high; however, I pointed out that if he made on average $5 per bottle, the WPP would pay for itself if it helped him sell just 5 bottles more per week. I asked if he thought that was possible and he just didn't know. (He's only been open about 3 weeks.) He said he would ask "corporate" for their take on it (it's a franchise). I offered the idea that I could easily build a WPP for every location and maybe it's something that corporate could buy and give to all locations to help their wine sales. He said he would and he probably will, but I don't expect anything to come of it. I expect if corporate likes the idea, they'll steal it and get their own marketing people to do it. The price I offered was $97 per month and a $97 setup fee because somebody - me - would have to load in all of their wines, prices, and flavor profiles. I thought for sure that was a palatable price. There would be a few additions and deletions that would have to be done every month. I'm so bummed. This WPP is really cool. However, I think I'll remove any branding I did for his demo and find other wine-carrying butcher shops to pitch it to. I'm thinking about doing a snail mail campaign in a hand-addressed envelope, screen shots, and a link to give it a try. Does anybody have any other ideas? insights? @Dave Calafiore @Drew Griffin ================================================================================= For my newsletter and media site, I just conducted an interview with the owner of a new butcher shop that opened up in town. He'll be featured in a business spotlight. When we talk to go over the article, I want to suggest a wine buddy ai chatbot for his store. They carry a nice selection of wine that people can pick up when they pick up their butcher order and I'm pretty sure this will help them sell more wine.

Thanks @Dave Calafiore . Yes, that answers my question. - where to get the information the bot really needs to be effective. I'm having fun building the bot right now - a Spotlight. I'll grab some sample data from somewhere and load into a Google sheet. Thanks for the tip!
