Turns out I just like being on my own
Section 2 of the Awakening Assessment just showed me that the "invisible one" I became wasn't me losing myself - it was me slowly finding my way back to the quiet little kid who only ever wanted time alone with her horse. Turns out wanting solitude isn't confusion. It's memory.
Keeping promises to myself
I get easily overwhelmed even with the thought of having to do too many things and not being organized enough to do it, so AI (Jim's twin) gave me great tips: Every promise kept is a brick in a new identity but it's better to start small and be very specific because "consistency beats perfection." Instead of saying YES, I did such and such BUT... (the perfectionist in me) which negates the win, say: "YES I had a win AND I want to do more." I will show up for myself and will post this reminder where I have to see it often until it becomes part of the new me!

Not enough / grief
Section 2 of my Snapshot just hit different. I always called it laziness or being broken, but it turns out the losses I keep listing are actually grief I never let myself name. And the self-hatred that runs "all day every day" with no trigger? That's not a knowledge problem. It's a nervous system stuck in a loop. Seeing it was never going to be enough.

@Deb Brouwer thank you Deb that’s very interesting 🧐 . So far though I do wonder if the AI is just telling us what we want to hear as all AI seems to . So far though it certainly makes sense although lots of emotion is coming out . Day 2 for me tomorrow . Have you compleated the course ?
So much life wasted , I feel sad and angry
Just finished the first section of my ADHD Snapshot and realised something. The thing I could never explain, the want and need to do something but being unable to start, isn't laziness. It's a real ADHD mechanism. And the kind words I wrote to my ten-year-old self are the exact words the grown-up me still needs to hear.
