Tips for taking myself on a date.
I'm an INFP and an introvert. I suppose I need to step out on faith and take myself on a date. Any helpful tips for a shy girl?

I would say start with a daily run or walk or hike… and like she said listen to an audiobook or music… Then maybe visiting a gallery or museum or even a comedy show or theater to get a feel for being out amongst the masses. Work your way up to that meal with yourself because that may seem overwhelming Hope that helps

Hey all
I’m new here.. navigating rebuilding and trying be ok as much as I can. I wanna heal the right way. What are some things you’ve been doing lately to invest in your healing? It hits in waves for me.. but for the most part, I’m glad it ended.

Dinner for one recipe- Garlic Tuscan Chicken
DTF Recipe: Garlic Tuscan Chicken (Instant Pot) This simple, high-protein meal is perfect when you’re learning how to cook for one without sacrificing flavor. It’s creamy, nutritious, and easy to portion for tonight and tomorrow. Ingredients - 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs (or chicken breast) - 3 cloves garlic, minced - ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes - 1 cup light coconut milk - 1 cup chicken broth - 2 cups fresh spinach Seasonings (to taste) - Seasoned salt - Black pepper - Garlic - Italian seasoning Optional serving base: - Cauliflower rice - Brown rice - Quinoa Instructions 1. Set your Instant Pot to Sauté mode and add a small drizzle of olive oil. 2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. 3. Add the chicken thighs and season with seasoned salt, black pepper, garlic, and Italian seasoning to taste. 4. Pour in the chicken broth and coconut milk. 5. Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes. 6. Close the lid and cook on High Pressure for 8 minutes. 7. Perform a quick release when the cooking time is finished. 8. Stir in the fresh spinach until wilted. Optional: Let the sauce simmer on Sauté mode for 2–3 minutes if you’d like it slightly thicker. Serving Tip Serve over cauliflower rice, quinoa, or a small portion of rice for a balanced meal. This recipe makes about 2 servings, perfect for tonight and tomorrow. DTF Reminder Just because you’re cooking for one doesn’t mean you stop feeding yourself well. Learning how to cook for one after divorce is an adjustment, but it’s also part of rebuilding routine and taking care of yourself. Stay Down To Feed — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

All for DTF- cooking and baking has been my outlet when stressed but the cooking for one has me on the struggle bus LOL Have you thought about a cooking group for us starting over as a party of one? I would be a happy participant LOL

Well said and accurate! I have been spending the past 18 months dating myself and I have been even setting boundaries in friendships so that when I do get back out there it will be like breathing.
