2.22.26 Sunday Reflection & Prayer
PEACE, PREPARATION & GOD’S PROTECTION The world may feel unsettled…but peace can still live inside your home. This morning has a quiet, almost sacred feeling. The weather reports are calling for a major blizzard starting in the next couple of hours. Churches and businesses are already closing, and everyone is preparing for what they say could be a real doozy of a storm. But right now… there is calm. I’m sitting peacefully, enjoying the quiet, watching Team USA win Olympic Gold in hockey this morning — such an exciting and joyful moment — while also feeling grateful that my loved ones are safe in their cozy homes, resting and preparing for the work ahead of shoveling and getting back to life once the storm passes. There is something grounding about these moments before a storm arrives. Preparation. Stillness. Awareness. It reminds me that while we cannot control circumstances, we can choose how we meet them. Storms come in many forms — weather, life challenges, uncertainty — but God’s presence remains steady through all of them. Our homes can become places of refuge. Our hearts can become places of peace. And sometimes the greatest gift is simply knowing the people we love are safe. 🌿 REFLECTION Where do you find your sense of safety when uncertainty is approaching? True peace is not the absence of storms — it is the presence of trust. Even when we prepare physically, we can also prepare spiritually by grounding ourselves in faith instead of fear. 🙏 PRAYER Father God, Thank You for being our refuge and shelter in every storm. Thank You for protecting our homes, our families, and the people we love. As this weather approaches, we ask for safety for all who will be affected — for those traveling, working, and serving others in difficult conditions. Help us remain calm, prepared, and trusting in Your care. Fill our homes with peace and warmth, even when the world outside feels uncertain. Remind us that You are our constant shelter, our strength, and our protector.

Consistency Beats Perfection
My mentor has an expression he patented, "Documentation Beats Conversation". Well today I told someone my saying is "Consistency Beats Perfection" Perfection is intimidating. Consistency is attainable. Perfection waits for the perfect time… Consistency starts with what you have. Perfection gets stuck in overthinking. Consistency moves forward — even when it’s messy. The truth is, most people don’t fail because they aren’t talented. They fail because they stop. Small actions repeated daily create momentum. Momentum creates confidence. Confidence creates results. A person who shows up imperfectly every day will always outperform the person waiting to get it “just right.” Consistency builds trust — with yourself and with others. It proves commitment. It creates habits. It compounds over time in ways perfection never can. You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to keep showing up. Perfection is an event. Consistency is a lifestyle. And lifestyles win.

2.26.26 ~ Daily Reflection & Prayer
Thursday ~ COURAGE, MOTION & TRUSTING THE SEASON After chaos… comes quiet. After stillness… comes movement again. Today feels different. The snow has finally stopped. Outside it’s gray, silent, almost eerie — the kind of quiet that settles in after a major storm has passed. Even the birds seem to be resting. Everything feels paused. There’s something both peaceful and heavy about it. I know I need to get out today and run errands — necessities don’t wait — but I have to admit I’m not looking forward to bundling up and heading back into the cold. Still… life moves forward. And as I sit here, I keep reminding myself: Spring is only three weeks away. All of this snow that feels overwhelming right now will eventually melt, wash away, and become part of a new season. That’s how life works too. What feels heavy today often becomes tomorrow’s memory. Sometimes courage isn’t doing something dramatic — it’s simply putting on your coat, stepping outside, and continuing forward. 🌿 REFLECTION What small step forward might you be resisting today? Movement often restores energy. Action often reduces worry. Even when motivation is low, progress still begins with one decision. 🙏 PRAYER Father God, Thank You for bringing us through storms and into moments of stillness. Thank You for the quiet reminders that seasons always change. Give us courage today for the tasks we may be avoiding — the errands, responsibilities, and steps that feel heavy. Help us move forward with trust instead of resistance. Strengthen our bodies, calm our minds, and guide our decisions. Remind us that winter does not last forever, and that new beginnings are already being prepared beneath the surface. May we carry hope in our hearts today, knowing brighter days are ahead. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 🙏 Until tomorrow, may you feel useful, connected, and hopeful—and remember, you are never alone. With love, Grandma Grady 💛

"Thank you for this beautiful reminder, Grandma Grady 💛. The way you connect the quiet after a storm to life’s seasons really resonates. It’s comforting to remember that even heavy moments are temporary, and progress begins with small steps. Truly inspiring and uplifting!"
💔➡️✨ Kintsugi — ever heard of it?
It’s a centuries-old Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with powdered gold. Not to hide the cracks… but to highlight them. To honor the break as part of the story — not the end of it. When I started writing my very first book, Flawed to Finesse: A Generational Curse …I stumbled across a photo of a vase repaired with gold veins. That image stopped me in my tracks. It was as if God whispered, “That’s you, Debra.” And so, the theme of my book was born. Because like that vase… I’ve been cracked. Dropped. Pieced back together through pain and prayer. But here’s the truth that changed me — and might just heal you, too: Your brokenness is not something to be ashamed of. It’s where the beauty begins. It’s what the light shines through. It’s the proof that you were never thrown away — you were made new. The cover of my book is a reflection of that sacred art — a visual of what happens when God steps into the shattered and says, “Let me make this glorious.” I can’t wait to share this journey with you. We are not flawed beyond repair. We are flawed to finesse — shaped by grace, sealed in gold.

This is absolutely beautiful. 🌿 The way you turned brokenness into gold is inspiring beyond words. Your story is a reminder that our cracks are not flaws — they are proof of survival and grace.
