Strore address
Hi, based on gmc policies only 2 forms of contract are required so we are not required to put the business address in the store front if we have the email and phone already displayed , but do we still need to mention store X operated from ADDRESS in contact or about pages? Any one got approved with such setup ? I don't want to display my home address in the footer thanks

@Mohamed Drop You do not need to display your physical address on your website for GMC approval. You only need at least one clear contact method visible (email, contact form, or phone). However, you must enter your valid business address in your GMC account settings, and that address must match your operational reality and business documents. Displaying your physical address on the site is optional but recommended. It builds trust and helps avoid "misrepresentation" flags. Since you want to keep your home address private, you can skip displaying it on your website as long as you have a working contact method (email or contact form) visible and your real address is correctly entered in GMC.

@Mohamed Drop Yes, you can display your address temporarily to fix the misrepresentation flag and remove it after 1 month. But there is no guarantee that you can remove it again after one month without triggering another review or misrepresentation check.
Virtual address
Hi, if I have an LLC registered with a virtual business address, should I use the LLC's virtual address or my real address on Shopify and Google Merchant Center? Thank you!

@Lylia Sadaoui Use your real physical address on both Shopify and Google Merchant Center, not the virtual address. Google's AI now actively detects and flags virtual office addresses as misrepresentation. Your LLC registration address and your actual business operating location are two different things. Google cares about where you actually operate, not where your legal entity is registered. Make sure the address you use matches exactly across Shopify, GMC, Google Ads, and Google Business Profile. Any variation is a red flag. The address must also be real and verifiable (Google cross-checks against Google Maps), so use the location where you actually conduct business operations.
🔒 New Premium Drop: Q2/Q3 2026 Fashion + Home Decor Product Research
The fashion drop in spring got more DMs than anything we shared this year. So we went deeper. This time we ran the full research across two niches: Fashion AND Home Decor. Same method. Real data, not guru guesses. The base 👇 💰 200+ Google Ads accounts. $14M in monthly revenue. 🛒 119,000+ conversions analysed across 106,000+ live products. US, DE, UK, NL, PL, AU, FR and more. Almost double the last report. 🧾 Plus paid 3rd party data from sources that would cost you a small fortune to stack yourself. What's inside 👇 📦 Top 20 products converting RIGHT NOW in each niche (May-June 2026) 📊 Every major fashion and home decor category with a clear verdict: scale now, scale into fall, or wind down 🔤 The exact words to put in your product titles - pulled from what's converting, not what sounds nice 📅 Month-by-month seasonal roadmap built from real 2025 curves, so you know exactly what to stock and when 🌍 All of it cross-checked against 20+ industry trend sources. Where only our data sees it, that's your edge. A few things that will mess with your assumptions 👇 → The fastest-growing home decor category is one most stores treat as a throwaway upsell. It converts at 3.1x ROAS and the trend press ignores it completely. → One fashion product type from the spring report doubled down. Our top store runs it at 2.8x ROAS and it's still accelerating into Q3 → There's a country in this data converting at 2.5x blended ROAS that almost nobody targets → The biggest summer category in home decor peaks THIS month, then fades hard. Most stores scale it in August - exactly when it dies Most would package this and sell it. We keep it internal - except for you. Premium members only as always! If you're premium: Comment "RESEARCH" and which report you need I'll send it to you. 💌

Location
Hello, I live in France, but I've been staying in Algeria for an extended period. Is it okay to create a Google Merchant Center account and specify that my business is based in France, even though I'm currently located in Algeria? My Shopify store is based in France, and I use a French bank account. Could creating the account while I'm in Algeria lead to a misrepresentation suspension? Thank you!

@Lylia Sadaoui Your business location should match your actual business registration. In your case, France. Creating a GMC account that accurately reflects your French business while you're physically in Algeria is fine. Google cares about the business address and registration, not your current physical location. Misrepresentation risk only triggers if you claim your business is in one country when it's actually registered elsewhere, or use a payment method from a different country without disclosure. Your situation is safe: your Shopify store is genuinely based in France, your business registration is in France, and you're using a French bank account. Frequent location changes might trigger a security review, but that's just a verification step, not a suspension. Specify France as your business location and you're compliant.
business registration
Can I run Google Ads even if I don't have a business registration yet? Also, how can I avoid Google Merchant Center misrepresentation issues if my business isn't registered yet?

For Google Ads: You technically can run ads as an individual, but Google will eventually require business verification. You'll hit a wall when they ask for official documentation: tax ID, business registration, or proof of business legitimacy. Delaying this creates compliance risk and account suspension potential. For Google Merchant Center: Don't attempt to operate without proper business registration. GMC requires verified business information, and misrepresentation suspensions are strict and difficult to overturn. If your business isn't officially registered, you shouldn't be selling through GMC yet. Register your business first (SARL, micro-enterprise, sole proprietor, whatever applies in France), then create your accounts with accurate, verified details. Trying to work around this with personal details will trigger verification failures and potential account bans. Bottom line: Get your business officially registered in France before setting up GMC or Google Ads. This is non-negotiable for long-term compliance.
