-How To Get An Edge On Competitors?
What do you look out for when scouting competitors? I’ve been studying up on saunas for the past couple of weeks and notice some of the competitors website’s in my opinion don’t seem to tailor their themes to the target audience, when I think of the target market that would be interested in this I think of people who are health and wellness minded / organic / alternative type personalities and I don’t see any co-relation to the websites themes that would captivate someone from that audience to be engaged, simply even down to the colour themes, one that stood out was dominated by red which I’ve read is a trigger colour in marketing or something along those lines but to me it doesn’t align well with the product. I would think greens and browns would make someone from that audience feel more aligned and feel safer to spend.. just my personal thoughts. Saunas from China have some red tape around compliance with NZ electrical standards and capabilities I’ve noticed. What are some key points you would look at with competitors? Are there any certain stand out points that would show they are dominant in their field and there wouldn’t be a chance to compete? I Really appreciate the information you are revealing online it’s super digestible and straight forward.

Update: I’ve started checking their socials to see if they’re running ads, I’ve just learnt you can go to their ad library and see what ads they’re actively running , how long they’ve been running for etc, hope this is helpful for anyone.
Changing direction
Once you setup a store, have a product/s that you aim to sell and test, let’s say the product doesn’t achieve the reach you are aiming for or completely flops. Can you keep the same store but re-model it and add new products? Essentially, can you pivot with the same store and keep running different products/strategies through the store?
What makes ads stand out?
Just putting together some things to include when crafting ads, any tips?

@Shad Wong are these all prompts you can adjust when you create an ad, generally?
Psychology & Sales
I don’t have much experience with ecom or sales but have recently been getting more into it after watching your content, and I’m quite interested in the psychology of what makes people buy, Something that ran through my mind the other day was the weather being cold right now and I thought how many people must be wanting things that make you warm I.e blankets etc, I haven’t personally searched for any related items but I noticed my ad algorithm is constantly showing this heater that you can plug in and instantly warm your house without using excessive power, Before you were doing high ticket sales or perhaps even with the container sales, how important or how much emphasis if any do you put into considering the psychology of people before you run a product? Is it part of your strategy?

@Shad Wong im finding the more I explore the idea of psychology and sales it opens up lots of paradigms that could add to a successful product and strategy.. I guess it’s one part of the puzzle to figure out.. thanks for the recommendation! I’ll have a look into it..
Product Selection
Appreciate the add to the group, looking forward to learning more and hopefully adding value to the community where I can in future. What strategies are you applying when looking into a product?
